FACK: oil up $10 dollars a today.
from cnn.
Oil prices shot up nearly $11 a barrel and settled today at a record $138.54 -- driven by geopolitical jitters, a dollar decline stemming from a weak jobs report and a forecast that oil would hit $150 by July 4

No it doesn't.
It completely rocks.
I can stomach paying a bit more for gas for the Miata and WRX.
Can all these ******** soccer moms in their 7000lbs 12 highway miles per gallon monstrosities?
I don't think so.
I'll be happy when it hits $6/gal at the pump. When it hits $10 I'll rub one out in celebration and then go buy a bicycle.

Yeah dumbass. I care so much about SUVs, and have 0 regard for what happens to industry, business, and commerce.
Do you know the terms foreclosure and unemployment? Both at record highs right now, I believe. Coincidentally coinciding with a record high in crude and gas prices. Hmm

it is true that there will be less SUV gas guzzlers on the road because people can't afford gas for them... and since people buy less SUVs, GM and Ford have shut down entire plants.
hope your mom doesnt work at one.

and just to clarify they shut down U.S. BASED plants. "cars" are typically made somewhere else in the world. just increases our trade deficit.
what do you think will happen to the 4k people who were laid off this week by Ford and GM? what will happen to their homes and their families?
keep dancing in the streets about high gas prices because you have a personal problem against SUVs. meanwhile, start planning for what will happen when you can't afford to live.

Within reason, increasing oil prices please me, and it has nothing at all to do with any personal bias I may have against large vehicles. PSPFX is up 12.57% for the year to date, and UMESX is up 21%. So basically, I've made close to $8k on those two alone (pre-tax) over the past six months just for sitting on my *** listening to people bitch about the price of gasoline.
Any US citizen who complains about the price of petrolium and yet has even just a few thousand dollars sitting in the bank gathering dust is a retard.
