Full Time Student, i work for a professor of mine with a grant from the DOE to do energy consulting. I graduate in may with a degree in mechanical engineering, I plan on doing some sort of consulting so I dont get bored. Hopefully opening up my own buisness eventually. Or investing heavily and retiring extremely young.

What I want is for Corky Bell to give me a job taht I cant refuse and force my g/f to move down with me...

I'm currently an undergraduate majoring in Computer Engineering at VA Tech. I'm currently involved in undergraduate research to get my foot in the door for graduate school. If you get a research position while in grad school then they pay for your tutition and you get a $600/2weeks stipend. Right now I think I want to get into some sort of embedded system design, but I'm not sure completely. I also would like to eventually get a phd in computer engineering and become a research engineer.

As of right now I work on campus washing dishes for $7.75/hr when I can. Next semester I'm going to have to bum grocery money off the MOM because I'll be taking 19 credit hours of engineering classes. This summer I'll be working on a research project sponsored by the NSF that I will be more involved in than normal. Then I hope to get a nice internship or Co-op in the next year or so.

I spent my almost my entire life injection molding plastic materials, from running a machine, to building them, to owning my own company. Now I am almost retired and I play with my Miata.

I do damage assessments, hazard mitigation plan writing and review, hmgp grant review, and pretty much anything else FEMA needs me to do. I travel constantly, and essentially help get funding rolling for disaster aid while assisting from the federal level. My job rules.

senior design engineer for a company that makes very high end head-mounted virtual reality displays.

high-end means: about the cost of a new miata. I mean mx-5.
