Who needs a google Music invite?

Yeah totally. With google music you upload your **** once and then it lives in their cloud available for streaming wherever you have internets. Might take a while to upload it all but who cares, only have to do it once and it runs in the background. I've been fairly successful streaming on Edge which is only 256k down.
One nice, unadvertised, feature is that once you upload it it's there until you delete. If your drive crashes/stolen/whatever they still have your mp3s and you can download/stream them whenever.

OK, so I've been uploading for over 3 days. STILL waiting for the meager 1300ish songs I decided to try at first to make it up. Is anyone else having it take this long? And should I be able to see on my phone the albums I've uploaded while more is still going up? I have the GM app on my Optimus but the only music that shows up is what's on my SD card. Not ready to ditch this yet but good lord.
And that it automatically converts flacs to mp3 sucks too. FRT_Fun I play flacs unmolested on my Droid with the andLess player. Don't know if you know about that one or not.
Edit: Answered the question about music not showing up. You have to enable auto sync on the phone.

Now that it's sync'd and I can actually use what's been uploading, it's pretty damn cool I'll have to say. Hopefully the song cap will be raised.

Maybe you could use something to mask/block your IP address? I helped my GF, who is currently residing in Ireland, to get around a problem where Hulu and Comedy Central videos were blocked, and iirc a mask/blocker was the cure. Terminology may not be correct, but that's how I'm remembering it.
