This guy keeps owning himself. People seem to think that manifold pressure is going to make bearings and valve guides die. ******* morons. My favorite is the part about manifold pressure increasing with rpm. lol

he's saying cylinder pressure, not manifold pressure.....

we add fuel and retard timing to reduce cylinder pressures away from TDC.....

your engine is 20% safer if you shift at 6K vs. 7K in relation to cylinder pressure IIRC.

I think people there have unrealistic expectations about what their engines are capable of.

that's more piston acceleration than pressure. knock resistance goes up with rpm. blows your mind, not your motor.

yeah I'm thinking inertial loads. Silly me. and yeah I add timing back in between 6-7K

"So no Hydras yet... this is promising. "

yes, if you just set hydra in the passenger seat, the car is safe.

so at this point, pretty much when anyone from this board posts over there, it gets locked. lol.

I love how you can't blow up a motor with Hydra. ******* idiots. It amazes me that people believe this ****.

they get locked because you guys aren't nearly subtle enough. if you want to have fun, you have to make it less obvious.
