Similar taste actually. Would be hard to differentiate in a blind taste test.

MSDS states that blue Loctite contains saccharine. 2% IIRC. This was asked at the factory I was supervising. Makes you understand why they are unskilled factory workers if they are tasting the adhesives.

Cracking me up this morning...

You know what tastes the strongest? That high temp oil thread sealant that I use on npt fittings. I think its also the most toxic. Every time I use it somehow I end up tasting it a little? Not sure what's going on there...

You shouldn't be spreading ANYTHING on ice cream.

I'm glad this thread exists. Anybody got any good antifreeze recipes?

Gear oil smells like death, I hate having a diff open anywhere near me. Gahhh.

Burning gear oil is even worse, the folks on the 949Racing 25hour team will agree.

My diff fell over and spilled about a 10sq/ft of gear oil. Cleaned it up with towels, which I then put in the washing machine.....nononono.

Don't do that. Our clothes smelled like gear oil for weeks. My gf just about murdered me, and won't go anywhere near me after working on a diff.
