gas shortages
Oil is at an all time high... for what the 8th day in a row?
Supplies are tight everywhere. Refineries are running dry.
Yesterday, I went to 2 gas stations in a row that were closed due to no gas in their tanks. I was afraid I was going to run empty myself, before I saw the WalMart fuel center. YAAY! WalMart gas. I only got 5 gallons worth to make sure I'd be good until I could stop at a real gas station. Good thing as their 93 detonates under light boost. (I tuned my car on cheap gas too, just in case I got stuck with bad gas somewhere!)
Prepare to bleed. Anally.
Perhaps we'll see the $5/gal prices that have been theorized.

I feel for the people up North that must buy heating oil as well. The cost has increasing like 37% since January of 07. Fuel is like 39% higher than it was in January. They are predicting possibly 95.00 per barrell by years end. We are getting bent over from every angle. The triple dry pumper with out KY.:gay: I am so glad I work from home.

All the while bio-diesel is driving the price of soy beans up so I won't even be able to eat my damn tofu while I jack off to anime **** without feeling guilty that i'm robbing ***** nelson of much needed fuel for touring. HOLY ****
I haven't seen any evidence of gas shortages here, our fuel is still 2.59 for regular 87.

Honestly, every time the price of oil goes up, I just smile and laugh.
It's not difficult. Two years ago I bought $20,000 worth of PSPFX, a USGI Global Resources no-load mutual fund. Since then it's up 41%. Their holdings are primarily oil and gas exploration, recovery, and refining. You don't have to be rich to do this- the minimum investment for most such funds is betweek $1k and $5k.
At this rate, I'll gladly pay $10 a gallon for gasoline.

You know why Americans pay $3+ a gallon for gasoline? So Arabs can go skiing in the desert.
