Default World Cup 2010 thread

We got any soccer fans out there? I took off work tomorrow so I can watch the games. Next week during work I'll just watch them thru the internet instead of in HD at home. I'm only going to miss 2 days of action since I'll be in Montreal for the F1 race. Looks like the USA vs England game is going to be HUGE. Kinda upset that I'll be missing that one.

Added the verizon international data plan with unlimited usage for a whole $2.33 per day. I'll tether the blackberry to the laptop and watch the FOOTBALL matches while at the track. Life is good.

It's going to be either England, Spain or Holland.

More Holland than the other two. England and Spain are known for always having sick squats and failing on the later rounds.

And I'm English!

Seriously though, there are far FAR better teams than us out there, our best centre half by a county mile has been crocked by a centre foward with a worse goal to game ration than some goalkeepers.

Brazil, Spain or Italy if they hit top gear for me. Spain will wither 'do' a France 2002 aka bottle it or they'll do a France 2000 and collect the only other trophy they can win.

Germany are dark horses too, they always come good come finals.

Despite that they won the UEFA, is always the same story with Spain. Look at the squats that attended 2006 and 2002; they always have great ******* players and always take a ****, just like Argentina

Anyways theyre on my teams group so Im doing brujeria and all against them

lol! I take it you're going for Honduras.

I hope you make it to the next round but it's going to be hard for you guys to beat Chile.

And, oh btw, Spain has the best team this time around. England and Argentina have the best individual players by far.

Hey Rich, I have to disagree with you. This time around you have great players and a great coach. You'll go very far.

Italy won't go past the quarterfinals (if they even reach it!). They're way too old and there's a lot of turmoil.

Our squad is older!

Have to agree though the coach is brilliant, it's the players that are lacking. It's more the depth of the squad that's worrying, and we only have Barry as a holding player and he's only just back from injury.

I dunno, reckon we'll make the quarters and get knocked out on pens, true English style

Where are you streaming it? I'd love to do the same (I already have data), I just don't know where to find it.
