Maybe not "as usual," but you clearly didn't do your research. They're awful drift cars for all the reasons they're good cars.

Plus a low hp car is good for me to learn in. Id kill myself in a car that has more then 350hp.
350hp in a Miata is pretty weaksauce. Might want to re-evaluate your goals.

You can say im a ***** but it would be a proven fact. Though it always goes like this: dont drive stupid, fast, all of that.
Figure skating is safer than hockey for this reason. Good call.

That dont mean **** with cars like that, depends on driver, and experience and other stuff. I mean look at Paul Walker and Roger Rodas(which was a professional driver) still crashed and they both died
Good correlation between driving what's essentially a decommissioned LMP1 car on the street and somehow managing to kill yourself in a parking lot with a limpwristed hairdresser car.

I could crash a car if my PS line burst too.

I don't run power steering for this reason. Safety measures. Preventative measures. Man pants.

You're ignoring what people are telling you and making up stupid ****. The Miata's lack of power isn't its only failing as a drift car. Furthermore, you can't even drive, and have no money. You have no business building a "drift car" anyway. Find a way to get you and your car legally on the road AT ALL. Make sure you have money for going out and other normal life ****, not to mention all the realities of owning and driving a car: tags, insurance, tires, gas, regular maintenance. Then get some time learning the basics of driving. Only then does it make sense to start thinking about getting into any kind of motorsports, but not if you're still making $4 an hour.

As Joe mentioned earlier: when people make fun of you wherever you go, it's time to start considering the possibility that the problem doesn't lie with everyone else.

1st rule of MT: it usually hurts
2nd rule of MT: there is no "safe word"
3rd rule of MT: the crying only makes us harder

Matt, you've ignored all the advice that I gave you, and that you said you understood.

Remember:
Read.
DON'T POST.
Read.

Get your freaking driver license. STOP POSTING UNTIL YOU CAN AT LEAST DRIVE YOUR DAMNED CAR.

YOU WILL NOT GET PROPS FOR INTENTIONS. YOU WILL NOT BE PRAISED FOR WHAT YOU PLAN TO DO. Spend your time finding a job that pays you more than peanuts, get your driver license, learn to drive..

AND STOP F(i&^%*^& POSTING!

Unless eggplant. If you paint your car purple and buy a hardtop and paint it green, you may stay.

You guys and the eggplant stuff that I mentioned. But your trying to say Jeff Abott commented. He started off in a miata well and NB one and they probably only produce 120hp stock. Its whatever though. I put it this way. If people drift them now how hard could it be? I just applied at a car wash so lets see how that goes....

We aren't TRYING to say that Jeff Abbott commented. We're TELLING you that you directly disagreed with Jeff Abbott, who DID comment in this thread.

We aren't TRYING to tell you anything. We're straight up telling you what happened.

And just because people drift Miatas doesn't mean that it's easy, or that it's a good drift car. That's some seriously backwards logic.

People do cocaine. How bad could it be?

Matt, I've gone to bat for you here, so here's one of those "gentle corrections" I always advocate:

Shut the **** up noob. With a half dozen posts you don't decide when threads close, or what constitutes a "good thread". This thread has only begun to deliver; I still have to be flamed mercilessly for trying to be reasonable, you haven't said nearly enough stupid **** to make your negative props tally more than your total post count, hell, we haven't even eggplanted you yet. Besides, this **** isn't even about you anymore, we're discussing Drifting. Shut up until you can actually drift, because really, do you even drift bro?

Know your place. Go read some threads, you're even starting to annoy me.

This person was the person to do it.

Unfortunately, i don't have the patience to wait around while homeboy saves up his nickels and fills a piggybank or two in order to buy a hardtop and pay for a paint job on $4/hr.

I might have to do it myself just so i can get my rocks off.

Not only was he the person to do it, we had convinced him to do it at once point. That would have been excellent.

I think someone needs to build a wicked track miata and paint it eggplant paint scheme.

Or you could repaint your MX6.

Repainting the MX6 sounds awfully like putting time and money into the appearance of a pretty awful looking car.
