Back on the road
Well after much deliberation in my own mind, I've decided to play with the miata again.
I was going to sell it or part it out, but work has kept me busy enough to just let it sit in the shop and get covered in dust, as well as take on a few bangs, dents, scratches.
Just last month I went and looked at a SRT8 Challenger 392 with 6 miles, but the test drive left me less than satisfied.
Saw this Hennessey Camero at another dealer and stopped in to look at it but you can tell the previous owner beat the **** out of it.
I havent touched the miata, nor really care to even keep it. Last night 100% changed my mind and I have the kick again.
We bought a new (to us) Chevy 3500 and have to spray rockliner in the utility body, so the miata had to get moved. This is before and after a quick rinse of water.
Charged the stone dead battery and it started right up. Idles nice and drove like a beast on the way to the gas station to fill it up. Now I just need to figure out how to pass emissions and re-register it!
Glad to see the forum is stronger than ever!

Thanks bros!
Looking forward to driving it again after a year in my '07 Altima. Sure it has the 3.5 motor, along with a/c, heated leather, etc, but it just doesn't do it for me. Hence why I was looking at the challenger and camero, but for the price....they aren't worth it.

Yeah.
Do you guys remember when guys like Hustler used to be on the forum? They made him a moderator so he couldn't be a bad boy anymore. It stopped being fun for him and he left to go ride a bicycle.
Ah, the good old days. It's hard to believe I'm at almost six years here.
It's good that Vash has come out of hiding. Did the chipmunk mafia call off the hit on you?

Thanks guys! Happy to be back to see what's new in the Miata world since I've been absent.
Here's links to my 2 main build threads. The first one has some pictures missing in the first couple pages, but the rest seem to be there.

Six, not living there anymore. We moved out just about 2 years ago to my current place and the gf moved out 8 months ago. Needless to say, life has been great!!
Work has been crazier than ever as well. I signed a huge commercial contract awhile back and we've been on that project going on 4 months now. Just last week I signed our biggest residential contract they've had since opening in '65. Steady work is booked all the way into the fall and if I land the 3 apartment buildings I've been working on, we'll be good for the entire winter.
Now that I'm actually making money I might have to dump some into the Miata again, but first things first, I just want to drive it again. Legally! lol
