Have a list of mishmash to throw together the cheapest AR I can possibly build and will punish the ******* **** out of it - Nothing but the worst ammo money can buy! I am going to be nice enough to use some moly lube when assembling it, but no more cleaning or lube after that.

Any of you have gunsmithing knowledge? I picked up a remington 798. The pic is in a post above. It ahs a mauser 98 action. Other than trigger work, what should be done to improve a rifle that takes you up to the point of diminishing returns? My goal is to make a super nice hunting rifle. I'm thinking trigger work, new stock, bedding, but what are other cost effective mods?

Two or three weekends ago I visited a gun show and found some lady selling KCI Glock magazines for $10 each. Wanted a few extra for my Glock 22 so I bought two and it wasn't until later in the week I discovered they don't fit my glock for ****. Loaded or unloaded you have to force them into the magazine well, then manually remove them with great deal of force. What happened to the good **** I've read about these pieces of ****??
Have taken some 400 grit sandpaper to one of them and removed a fair amount of plastic, yet they still won't fit properly. The KCI 33rd magazines fit my gun perfectly without any modifications.. they drop free empty too.
