^Yup, between the gas and fee I was $18 in the hole to start... might be my last one for a long time... but I guess I say that every time I go to one.

I went to about 10 straight shows in a row and came home with nothing except $10 wasted on the show and $5-25 wasted in fuel depending on the vehicle I drove.

There's a show at the OP Convention center which is 4 minutes from my girlfriends place this coming weekend, think I might actually go waste another $10 to check out the Obama panicked overpriced ****...

This one's almost finished. Planning to swap out the stock for an FDE Magpul MOE when I happen across a good deal for one. Weighs 6.4 lbs unloaded.

Yeah, it's a Plum Crazy poly lower. This is my first AR so I kind of wanted to build a fun but cheap plinker to get a feel for what I do and don't like. The complete lower was $120 so if it's complete crap, I'll just throw a .22 upper on it and get a nicer lower for the 5.56 upper.

I still really like my Plumb Crazy lower. Recently replaced my fire control group with brand new DPMS set I got off a local board for free.. Much crisper trigger pull, however it took some work to get the fire selector fit properly.

Only failure I've seen personally with Poly lowers, my friends trigger broke:

Can you say run away?

Heh, a local guy actually captured on video when his PC lower failed. Both pins broke simultaneously and the upper looked like it was trying to jump off the lower. I'm somewhat skeptical unless he's in the habit of recording all of his range sessions. Seems odd that he'd just happen to have the camera running when his lower failed in a dramatic fashion. I'll have to go find the video and repost it here.

Bah, can't find the video, but he apparently made a GIF from it.

Found it!

Also found out when I was looking for the video that he'd shot about 100 rounds through it with the Slide-Fire stock (mimics full auto operation), and was using a .40S&W blowback upper when it sheared the pins.

Anyone want to buy my spiffy AR?

Spikes Enhanced Zombie lower and upper.
BCG bolt carrier group/bolt
Generic Charging handle
Magpul B.A.D. lever
Magpul MOE grip
Magpul MOE stock
Nordic 18" SS match grade rifle length gas barrel
Firebird SS gas block
YHM Rifle length (12"+)
YHM Aggressive Flash suppressor
Magpul BUIS Sights (optional, I don't mind keeping these and knocking 100 off)

It's the one in my previous posts, the middle one without the optics on it.

2 Takedown pins are $6.00.

He's more than welcome to give me the lower and I'll use it.

edit: I take back what I said, after upon further review I saw the front pin floating. Get new pins? Simple fix.

I don't care to have a personal relationship with my gunsmith.
