Default Finally pulled the trigger

S5 mani and downpipe will be here in like a month-ish. Or whenever BEGi gets to building it.
T3 manifold with external gate flange and downpipe swaged to a straight 3" exit. I elected for both the ego sensor bungs located by the flex joint, one at 12:00 and the other at 6:00.

Thank you again Stephanie, and please tell Corky I enjoyed our conversation.

We're gonna be turbo setup buddies. How neat.
Tell them not to paint your flanges, I told Stephanie a while back not to do that anymore because it just causes problems so hopefully they tape them off now. Nothing worse than paying big money and having to put effort into playing cleanup.

What exhaust do you plan to use with the new setup?

Which flanges? Why would overspray on the flanges matter?
Exhaust will be built by Jason @ Enthuza. I asked him for big and dual. He said that won't be a problem.

This might light a fire under my *** to get crackin on the block. Still need to source some ARP head studs (my brother's ******* dog ate the ones I had, no kidding). But I have all the big items like pistons and rods.

The block came from a 2001. Head is off a 99. Plans were originally to work the head, but my eyes are bigger than my wallet.

It doesn't matter really, not like it doesn't come off, it sure isn't flat as i would like with a run in the paint and 2 layers of paint on the other end.

No ****?

Reminds me of a scene from ******:

Avi: Have a look in the dog.
Tony: What do you mean have a look in the dog?
Avi: I mean open him up..
Tony: It ' s not a ****** tin of baked beans, what do you mean open him up?

Yeah. She's up about 30lbs since you've seen her.

You lucky bastards with friends that like to wrench on miata's local to you. The only guy I know around here is that weird emo kid that thinks it's cool to have crooked bumper stickers on his windshield. No way in hell am I asking him if he wants to wrench.

I'll be with you guys soon. I am finishing reassembling my head as I write this and hopefully this weekend will get the motor put back together. In a few weeks it will go in n/a for now and I will order a S5 EWG. I already have a Turbonetics T3/T04E 50 trim and a 38mm Tial wastegate.

Nice choice in Manifolds... I think this makes 4 on here with the S5 or plans to get one?
