Annual NE Dyno Day 4/5/08!
#66
I probably won't have the MS by then ... but I might. Otherwise, no point in dynoing because the car will be the same as it was last time, except for the presumably warmer weather.
Opinions wanted: last time it made 213rwhp/205tq on the stock ECU and 305cc injectors, with 10-12 psi (power #s after the usual statistical corrections) ... Paul says with the Megasquirt EBC it will get a lot more low-end power (vs. just peak numbers that I have currently) ... so I'm estimating around 230-240 hp if I go with much larger injectors and 12-14 psi range.
Meanwhile, the good news: my car passed inspection with its Absurd-but-not-quite-as-absurd-as-Paul's-Flow exhaust by TurboTim.

I don't think the EBC will give you "a lot more" low end power. Maybe a more agressive ignition map would, but I don't think you'll have noticeably quicker spool or power just via the EBC. If you were capabile of running more boost and using the simple ball-spring MBC to 12-14psi, you'll have similar boost response as the megasquirt (or any other) EBC. EBC is cool cause you can add control to it, like boost per TPS (like me) or vehicle speed, gear, hi-low boost switch, etc. But it won't spool it quicker than a properly adjusted ball-spring MBC.
completely unrelated side note: if a coolant line comes off a turbo it will empty the cooling system within 1000 feet.

Yeah, depending upon how many folks come, it'll be some combo of the grill at the dyno with burger/dogs/etc... and the local pizza joint. Tons of places to eat nearby so no need to pack food. Details about the food will be posted closer to the dyno day when I have a final count/etc...
