I just took some Toyo Proxies off my Mini. Total crap in the wet or under any sort of spirited driving conditions. At least compared to my Eagle F1's

I hope I'm wrong cause that manifold looks easy to make and would be an easy upgrade.
Intake install done. figured out tps wiring(easy). Took for a quick test drive, quick because it was midnight and the passenger headlight still is out. Note: don't turn on HID headlights with no bulb in. Giant spark jumped out of the harness.
  1. car idles beautifully. i set idle to ~1000 rpm with the butterfly set screw. could prolly go lower with no issue but it's late and i am sure the neighbors aren't too happy already
  2. throttle response is AWESOME
  3. low throttle driveability also AWESOME

So somehow tomorrow(after work) with the 90% chance of rain all day I have to modify the headlight support(completely chop it up) to fit it back in with the newly routed IC piping. Then I have to somehow tune the thing which is virtually impossible in the wet since the thing brakes loose at 50-60mph in the dry with heavy throttle. It's possible I'll have to do the tuning Saturday morning on my way but that's nothing new. And ****, I wanted to try that new timing map too. **** **** ****. But it's all worth it when I lift the hood and see this

I'm definitely jealous of that manifold/rail combo but I'm also slightly disappointed that I'm not going to get to see what a difference the ported '99 intake made compared to the complete manifold with VICS active.

I have no problem shipping it to you Chad so you can make comparisons on a dyno.

Nice, I'm glad I'm wrong then! Good job buddy, getting all that done in time, and nice job on the I/C plumbing, sorry I couldn't help with that. I can't wait to see what it can do in person!

Okay people, see you tomorrow. Come early as you can as we have lots of cars for the dyno. Remember, if you are not dynoing, park in the lot across the street. The food is all bought and dropped off at the dyno so you peeps better show come rain or shine.

I just finished replacing the gasket on my oil drain off the turbo. I had been seeing smoke everytime i come to a stop and mainly lots of oil drips everywhere. So i had tightened it once before but i found out today that the gasket was slipt in half!!!! So i sealed it up and should be good to go!

I have crazy AFR's (15's), my autotune doesn't seem to be doing anything. My sensor either needs to be recalibrated or it's slowly dying. I'll be running datalogs and tuning all night so my motor doesn't take a dump tomorrow. Oh, and I have an expired inspection sticker. Tomorrow should be an interesting day.
