I like that route. I work right off of 66/17 in portland now. I took some of those roads to go to RI to pick up my tranny...nice ride.
here is another one more localized towards Uconn. Bumbfuck area, but decent roads.

The only thing is there arent great places to take pics at either gillettes or devils hopyard. If we swing over the bridge like you guys did last time tho there are some areas around the ferry where we can get along the coast I think.

I will make a complete route a little later... maybe tomorrow afternoon.
We will start somewhere... middletown maybe? ... cruise down to east hadam/ lyme/ old lyme area and go by the castle..... go down to old saybrook.... stop and take pics somewhere, drive up through essex or somewhere and back up to middletown

I got a great route in my head! Ill try to do it durring commercial breaks of the new burn notice and royal pains

yeah Bills is nice and all but its another 10 minutes past saybrook AND you can dream on when it comes to not waiting forever for a table. that place is always packed.

Its a long route. We dont have to stop at the castle, or even stop in otter cove in Old Saybrook. I figure we can grab food somewhere on rt 1... probably jonny ads
