My new built motor is almost done as well, would love to meet up at High Plains with some guys later this year. Did y'll pass emissions? I passed last year with my turbo, Im ODBI so that helped, but I just tied the wastegate open and autotuned to 14.7 afr targets for a few days, passed no problem.

Anyone want to help put in a motor in the next couple of weeks?

Passed right before teardown for trubo install. Failed missrably first time (still had tps accel enrichment and too lean in cruise), went right back next day and passed. I was first in line and tester let me sit in the passenger seat and twiddle ***** on the laptop as he tested. . Passed with fluing colors . Obd1 '94 for reference.

Don't think so... Would be fun to try and get all the Miata's out to the track for a day.

I approve of that suggestion. I'm always down for some canyons, too. Fingers crossed that it'll be running this weekend.

I would be game for canyons,

side note both Pueblo and pikes peak say they do a broom stick test, do they actually do it on open lapping days?

lol pueblo said you could drive a convertible without a roll bar up until this new year.

I've never been checked anywhere. ever.

Good. Because I'm 6'4" and rub my head on my hardtop every-day. No idea how I'm going to fit with a helmet let alone pass the broomstick.

It's actually quite comfortable to drive entirely without a seat for me.

That's also been my experience at PMP, no broomstick test. Though with Pueblo's contract up in the air this year you never know what the next management crew will do.

Any of you guys gonna check out the time attack series at PPIR? I'm going down next weekend for the first day of events (test and tune) to hopefully run the fresh build on a few shakedown laps.

Here's the event page: http://www.ppir.com/page/25

First two dates are test and tune, points runs start in April, or you can just fun-run it the rest of the season. Looks like $40/day.

I'll probably head out for a couple of these events... Can't make the February one though.

Gonna miss the event tomorrow, still working out some bugs with the new build. Should be there next month.

I'd be up for a mini meet, maybe at the top of Coal Creek Canyon Rd?

Anyone else headed to PPIR tomorrow for the time attack? I'll be there.
