SEMA show in Vegas Nov 1-4
http://www.semashow.com/
I will be there. Anyone else plan on attending? I'm actually going the whole week.
Do you guys have any suggestions of kick *** buffets or must see things to do while in Vegas?
My wife wants to see Circa Soleil or whatever, and the hoover dam, and grand canyon. I'm mainly going cause I need a vacation and the SEMA show looked like the perfect getaway.

I got dumped on with snow all day on Saturday, I said, F that. My wife called a friend to take care of our house and our dogs. As of about 11 hours ago, I'm in Vegas just in time for the SEMA show. This is my first time in Vegas and, oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I have vendor passes because I just do. My wife and I walked the strip tonight, and had mixed thoughts. It reminded us of NYC, but on a bigger scale. Best part was I can walk around with cans of beer in my cargo shorts, and crack one open as I walk down the sidewalk drinking it, and nobody gives a what.
I saw lots of this too:
It also seems like anybody who rents a car gets a new camaro or a mustang. I saw a few "hot numbers", LOL. I saw about a '09 Challenger with 24" rims...BLING BLING.
There was a few exotics, a Ferrari or 2, an R8 here and there, and a handfull of Porsche's.
Is anybody else here for the party?

I went to the Exomotive display, and I was pretty blown away when I saw the car. It had a Ford Focus engine in it and the guy told me it makes around 200whp and weighed about 1100lbs. I saw that the rear engine design was meant for a FWD swap, so I asked about the Honda K series. He told me that they actually have one at their shop that has a K20 in it from an RSX Type-S. For around $7500 for the kit minus drivetrain, I think it's a great way to go.
That model wasn't the exocet. The exocet uses a miata drivetrain, but weighs like 1400 lbs.

I was pretty much about to jerk off when I saw this.
I do not like the new Camaro. I was always a Pontiac guy and I know if Pontiac was still around, they'd make a Firebird / Trans Am using the same body as the camaro, just like they did since 1967. I love the Firebird design, which means I also love this.
Apparently, you can now buy a Camaro and then order this kit for it, and it becomes a T/A. Totally awesome.
