Getting some rear DTC-60 pads and shipping is cutting it close if I send them to my house. Does anyone want to volunteer their house for me to get the pads shipped to? I know @codrus will be at the track the night before. But @gesso has a baller garage.

You can use mine?
I'll be departing on Friday from Rohnert Park.

I can't recommend this route anymore :( I drove it in the exofish yesterday morning and most of hwy 35 is freshish chip seal with lots of loose gravel. Not particularly enjoyable.

Hwy 9 from Saratoga to Santa Cruz would still be really nice though.

The bit from Saratoga to the summit is miserable. Traffic, low speed limits, cops, and a big stretch of single-lane at the moment.

Need to be real conservative on the drive down. I've got a half-legal vehicle on an Oregon trip permit and Aidan loses his license if he gets another ticket.

Portland slow crew checking in

I'm doing most of the drive Monday. Sunday half day will chill at the track and ride along with people, then in the afternoon start heading north.

So, given that this is the meetup thread for MRLS, what are the actual "meeting up" plans?

I'm aiming to drive down Friday afternoon, drop my Miata and trailer off at the track, and take the truck back to the hotel.

Are people going to the banquet Saturday? I didn't buy a ticket because usually my wife brings the kids down, and taking them to the banquet really makes no sense. They're only going to be there on Sunday this year, though.

We didn't get banquet tickets either. Were camping Friday night and hopefully bbqing with some other mt.netters.

We should do an mt.net dinner on Saturday. I think most of us passed on the banquet.

Last year we did Friday breakfast which I really enjoyed. Maybe brunch Friday? Although I don't think G or Gesso would be there yet. Am I wrong?

I also like the idea of Saturday dinner but I might not be able to participate in that.

Hey guys, need a couple things, wondered if anyone has them and if you'd bring them down to mrls.

1. Rear view mirror. Mine has gone missing. The one that mounts to the windshield...

2. I need one of the little cone shaped spacers that are used to locate the ends of the 949 endlinks. Mine fell off. OneTwo is looking into it but would love to have a backup if anyone else has one.

3. Mounts to attach my HANS to my helmet. Doesn't seem my HANS came with them and I spaced it.

I think that's it. Have lots of other Spares though...

I don't think any of us signed up for the banquet or bbq things. I did the banquet thing a couple years ago and ended up sitting on the floor in the corner because it was grossly oversold.

No clue what Gesso is up to, but its 11 miles from my front doorstep to the entrance to the hot pits, so I be wherever whenever.

Ian, does the brunch thing work for you? It sounds like you would be coming in the the afternoon? We could always do a late lunch kinda thing.

Oh yes. Monterey Black Bear Diner » Black Bear Diner

2450 Fremont Street, Monterey, CA, 93940

Does anyone know if they are going to let us in the front gate this year or send us around back through hell and gone again? I guess I could like, read the schedule or check the website
