No extra points for 'hardcore'. Better trailer it.

I'll trailer that turd to his house and let him drive the show car "fancy pants" home...lol

Well got to Dallas about 7pm and Fidgitk and I had some grub and pulled the CAS off the race car. It looks like that was one of my problems that ended the day at TWS. We should have it fixed Tues night with our super glue experiment. I have a spare if that doesn't work. We also think my timing was too advanced and thats why its breaking up on the big end.

Spoolin2bars, I thought you were following my wifey up here and we were all heading out at midnight? I'm stopping in LR to drop the wife and kids off, then off to Tulsa to pick up a friend off CL. Then on to Hallet and a suuupppper night.

Who's going to the Wednesday night meet? I think Fidgetk and I are stopping in.

yeah, uhhh, i can't be globe trotting in my miata. there's no way in hell i'm going to be in that car for 15-20hrs. or however long it takes you to cross 3 state lines. 6hrs. to dallas, sleep, 6 hrs. to hallett, is all i can handle IF i can still make it. nothings set in stone yet for me. plus, i'd like to drive as many hours as possible during the day since i don't have headlights! lol..
wind noise, heat, alum. racing seat, your not dealing with any of that. it really wears you out. if i can't leave early on thurs., i may still follow her up, but i'm not leaving dallas till fri. morning.

If you guys are in Dallas and need anything in terms of parts, tools, or help, let me know. John has parts too that he's probably willing to help out with if you're in a pinch.

I'm at the Choctaw Casino in Oklahoma (lol) until tomorrow night and I'm off friday so hit me up and we can drizzink beerz and I can show off my new oil-cooler set up which is triple gold with diamond bolts.

Also, the Victorian Inn in Caddo is 20-minutes from Hallett, $59 per night, and they still have like 4 rooms left for Friday night.

I'm here until midnight Thursday. I think Wags and I are meeting up to give fancy a little love. I think I conned him into double driving fancy. That way I find out how many driver mods I need for next season...lol

Trey, give me a call when your back in town so I can check out the rhinestone cowboy oil cooler. You and spoolin might have to have a cool off...lol

JZ, just stay with stubbs

Don't forget that OK only has 91-octane and thatfuel is not cheap at the track so either bring some 93 or pull 3* of spark out.

or tune your car on 91 like i'm planning to

or does that 3* trick work? what would i need to add to run all 101oc?

3* is an industry standard rule of thumb. I'm taking 5 or 10 gallons of 93 with me so I can dilute to 92-octane. I already have a massive safety-margin though, 5* back from MBT...and I can really feel 3-5* of retard on the butt dyno.

I don't understand your 101-octane question. Considering you have an Eaton hand-dryer on your car you probably need all the octane you can get.
