So they are not charging for the garages. Anyone want to try to group up in a particular garage area?

Go for the paddock that's the furthest away from the starting grid.

I'm driving down with the Miata and the tire trailer because my Dad is a **** and likes to argue over stupid **** and I'd rather be stranded in College Station with a broken car then deal with him for 2-days.

On a side note, am I feeling motivated to install my poly bushings and align before Thursday? I'd like to install them because some of the old bushings fell out when I removed the spindles...yes, they "fell" out.

Did you talk to Gary about using his press? I can lend a hand to help you with the bushing install if ya need. Let me know, you have the beer ready.

OK good that is where I usually go. It is the one closest to pit-in when running CCW. Look for a dark blue NA M-Edition, wing, extractor hood, 'Lowes Racing' splitter, #69 on the doors.

for some reason that sounds wrong. clockwise, the grid is closest to the chicane. either way, let's look for each other when we get there. there's gonna be other peeps there. be nice to get together with the trackjunkies peeps also. quite a few will be in miata's also, maybe we can get some of them to join us next year. i'll be with jake in his wht. s2k, look for me to get checked in as soon as possible but keep it hush hush when you register, i don't wanna pissy off misty or tws peeps. can't wait!

Yeah that is what I mean, the covered garage closest to the chicane. When they run CCW in the CMRA (the only direction they do run) pit-in is that gate right next to the chicane end of the paddock, and pit-out is the one at the other end with the little guard-shack looking building, near the snack bar. You come off the track through the gate near the chicane, and get back on at the guard shack gate.

But, whatever, no big deal. looking forward to this. And yes mum is the word at registration.

So what is the situation with tech with these guys? Easy-peasy, ---- safety *****, or somewhere in between? Not that I am worried about anything in particular; the car is good to go. Helmet, fire extinguisher, harnesses, roll bar, etc.

ZXTEX, spoolin said its a tech yourself event. Lets all pit together for sure. That way we can follow Tanner out and steal his lines...lol Really, I'm not joking about Tanner.

That is a ton of work. Make sure you clean out the races with a drill and a wire wheel. they have slag in them from the factory that looks like it will eat away at the poly. Lube the crap out of all of them. Also, it will lower your car about .5 inches due to no tention on the arms anymore, so take ride height notes before you rip it apart.

LOL @ first paragraph.

Willing to help install bushings. I have a portable vice and many-a-socket to do work with. Let me know baby.

Yeah, I told him I had knock pad knock back, explained it to him, then he told me over and over that bearings won't cause it and then it once again became clear why he's been married 7-*******-times. He's not even my biological father and that's nothing short of a god damned miracle.

I may need your help, but according to Jacob's post I'll do it later this year.

Thanks for the fair warning, I'll make sure to stock-up on black tar heroin for this party.

If anyone needs help finding me, I'll be the guy in a diaper, on a leash tethered to my GF. If you want to speak to me, be sure to ask my master (GF) permission first or she may beat me. She's still house-breaking me so look out!

If anyone wants lose arguments and be "wrong all the time," strike up a conversation with my collegiate debate team coach/judge girlfriend and she'll let you know that you're an idiot.

I was actually considering running my wingless trunk. I'm not sure the wing is going to be too beneficial running CW. I'll probably be too lazy to swap it before friday, so i might just pull a bunch of angle out of it.

If you really want and we have time, you can try it, but you'll probably just push really bad.
