Some pics from my trip to So-Cow...
So as some of you man know, over the Labor Day weekend, my gf and I flew out to L.A. to see Nine Inch Nails. Well, unfortunately while were in Atlanta traffic about 2 miles from the airport, we find out that the NIN show we had tickets to was rescheduled (for the following thursday..WTF?). So we ended up taking a heck of a tour of L.A. and the surrounding areas. Since we were getting a refund on the tickets, we decided to upgrade out rental car to a 350Z. Not bad...though it was autoshitragic...I sill did some donuts up on Mulholland Dr.
We went to Cars & Coffee, toured Hollywood Hills, drove up the PCH through Malibu, drove through Long Beach, Long Beach Harbor, City of Industry/West Covina, Santa Monica, Irvine, Garden Grove, cruised Sunset/Hollywood/Rodeo/Sepulveda relentlessly and the well-known parts of Mulholland.
Other points of interest were Crenshaw, Baldwin Park, San Pedro and Inglewood.
I could go on and on about our three days there...but i'll post up things like the good food places and the guy on a bicycle that got whacked by a taxi later.
Leaving Atlanta-
Station Fire seen from Hollywood Hills
My favorite pic from going to the Getty Center..
Some from Cars & Coffee..
twin turbo BMW 2002
Porsche GT1
Really cool 911 930
Lotus Exiege Club Racer
Spotted the JHPUSA Tine Attack S2000 in Garden Grove..pretty badass car... (aero guys-get out your pencils and paper and take notes)
And on our takeoff from LAX, I spotted the mother-of-all-airplanes...the AirBus A380..sitting next to a 747-400 (the largest of the 747s)
I'll post more pics as I resize/edit them and load them up to my flickr....so stay tuned.

RIP Nine inch nails. Today is actually their last show.
And yeah the A380 is kind of ridiculous... basically a 747 with a double deck stretching all the way down the fuselage. The airport terminal waiting areas are going to have to be resized, lol (555 passengers and lift off weighing 1.2 million pounds). Hanging underneath the beast are four huge Roll Royce Trent engines, each with 76,000lbs of thrust. The boys at Kill Devil Hill would have been amazed...
Looks like a fun trip, man

NIN is no longer playing anymore live shows and there was no way for us to get back out on Thusday for the now last ever rescheduled show. F*ck Trent for getting sick.
Yeah, Baldwin Park was def. a wrong turn. Honestly, I have been to places in Atlanta that scared me more...like the time my GF and I got rushed by 6 thugs in some neighborhood..probably trying to sell me dope.
oops, didn't realize I put this somewhere other than Media.

A Terrible Lie. I'm willing to bet once he recovers from the massive amount of touring he's done there will be new material and a tour to follow. Give him a couple of years, look at how long there was between tours/albums when he did the With Teeth tour. Granted he got off the dope/booze in that time period, now he's just getting over being old.
