Default big *** turbo

Finishing my night divisional training today, i came across a spare turbo sitting in our tool room. Kind of Random, but hey its a turbo forum after all. Any automotive use? lol

Looks like an electric motor powered air pump to me...although the intake is usually along the axis, not pointed out radially like it appears on the other side. Must have been a packaging solution.

its the spare turbo off our v10 emergency generator, the motor is supercharged and turbocharged
