i hope they keep that in the movie. that would be the most realistic looking CGI of the entire trilogy.

Must not be a Michael Bay film this time, there was no explosion.

Yes..

Truck had minor damage, looked almost unscathed compared to the car.

Was this part of the filming though? Sort of looks like it was.

LoL @ how fast they put a jimmy hat on the camaro after the crash.

GM should have put a white cover over the new Camaro project before it was put into production...cover the dead bloated body before even tooling up the plants.

Best end for those POS cars...

Statement from the Metropolitan Police Department:

"Earlier today, a MPD marked cruiser responding to an emergency assignment, collided with a vehicle involved in the filming of a movie at Third Street and Maryland Avenue, SW. The officer sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. No civilian injuries have been reported.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the facts of the crash and filming of this movie on closed DC city streets has been suspended until safety procedures can be reviewed."

Lol at last paragraph. In other words: We fucked up, therefore you are punished. Sounds like good 'ol DC.

From what I read the officer was on the bomb squad and was responding to a call. In their defense, IMO, if someone is responding to a bomb threat then I say **** road closure for filming. Bomb threat = more important than movie.

He couldn't have gone a block over and gone around? Instead he flies through a set where they looked to either be filming and doing some test runs with the vehicles.

Oh well, the entire film series sucks massive smelly ****, and I couldn't care less that the pile of **** car was destroyed. The cop was stupid though.

In DC it's never as simple as just going over a block and going around. And I wouldn't exactly call what he did "flying through".

yeah for all he cared there was a sinkhole beyond the roadblock and he was going to see if he could clear it.

Responding to a bomb threat in a Suburban? The important people responding to such situations arrive in armored vehicles.

he had to look busy so he didn't have to acutally do work. how many times have you been pulled over, and then after 10 minutes notice 3 cop cars behind you?
