Short video going from 30-110
Got a new camera the other day. Just used a stretchy strap and secured it to the roll bar and went for short drive. The battery lasted for well over an hour and it had plenty juice left for more video. So far I'm very happy with it. Here's a short clip from the camera, the rest of the drive was boring. What do you think? The camera is a Vado HD and is the size of a cell phone.

This video is with my old setup that will be in the classifieds very shortly. It's running at 12 pounds right now on my stock 01 block. The lack of rain is making it very difficult to get off my *** and tear this thing apart. All the new parts are back from getting coated and I'm almost finished with the new engine.

Nice quality, needs to be mounted a bit higher.

The video on youtube in HD is nothing compared to how it looks on my plasma at home. I think they compress it a bit, but I know less about cameras and video compression than I do about turbos.
As for a mount, it has a hole on the bottom of it for a mount, but I wanted to test it out a bit before I started searching for one. Anyone have any experience with mounts for these types of things?

What resolution and rate was your recording captured?
I want a small but good camera that writes to flash memory to leave mounted to the roll bar. I'm thinking about getting something like this
Amazon.com: Aiptek Hi-Speed HD 720P Camcorder with Built-in 2GB Storage: Camera & Photo

It was recorded in widescreen 1280x720p resolution. The more I play with this thing the more I'm happy I went with it. Here's the site with all the details on it.

Here's one from tonight. Nothing special, just cruising to see how the camera works at night. On roads where it's pretty well lit I am happy, but on the back roads with just my headlights it's a bit lacking. Also mounted it up a bit higher, I think it's much better.
I also noticed that when I plug the camera directly into the TV via HDMI cable it shows up as being in 1080i.
