Default Ken Block new Gymkhana

So another Ken Block video
Ahh If only I had 200 million from selling fanboy flatbill hats to posers.
Ok so maybe he's not a great race driver, but the guy can drive and he gets to have a lot of fun too. Maybe not mad respect but a little respect none the less.

Agreed- too bad the only thing he lacks is talent equal to that of WRC front runners, since he's well positioned to promote a motorsport other than drag or circle in the states. I got to see about 15 seconds of the Xgames and in that time Sebastian Loeb drove off and left Block. We want a winner not a hero.

I wish there was negative threads about it. someone should divide Ken Block by zero.

Hmm, I understand the hatred for the man's products and those that purchase them, but I struggle with the level of hatred people have for the guy himself(Subaru people really hate him-traitor!). So what if he isn't the greatest talent in motorsports, very few people can be Loeb, Schumacher etc. He's rich and he can buy his way into WRC who cares? I mean most of us would love to do the exact same thing. if I had a few hundred million I'd have a ride for LeMans. People make a little too much out of talent in motorsports sometimes. Hell those Playstation academy people seem to do ok with a mixture of professional drivers-not exactly the archetypal race stars who started in karting while they were in the womb. I am pretty sure that Ken Block is a better driver than 99% of the people on this board, so why should we hate him or even disrespect him. The people that buy his crap, sure I hate them with the fire of a thousand suns. I hate people that buy Katie Perry crap but I wouldn't hate her.
Maybe the guy is a dick in person, probably is, and I reserve my right to change my mind if I ever meet him.

I do however hate all these fagboy energy drinks like Monster/---- star etc. Holy cat **** and high fructose corn syrup Batman!! These things are taking over the cooler at the gas station. There used to a decent selection of cold soda, but now there are 6 cooler cases full of this vomit in a can. You really gonna drink something called venom?-do the world a favor and be a man-go handle some real snakes.
Thank god they still have Diet Coke which as everyone knows is the real Miata man's drink.

honestly, the video is the worse yet.

cliffs for those who didnt watch: he drives fast through a stupid course. uses the ebrake a lot and the multi-million dollar budget of the videographer makes it look somewhat compelling be prepared for 20 replays of 1 jump with every camera angle imaginable.

i get more enjoyment/pleasure at staringat myself in the mirror than watching these stupid videos.

Oh I see why the hatred.
Yeah the videos themselves suck, totally with you on that, and the ending was comically bad. So I guess I could hate him on the basis that he puts out crap videos. Agreement. Harmony

I admit I use to like the old vids. They were at least fun to watch. This is just getting sad. Could he out drive me-yes. If I had a few million could I do what he does with some practice-yes. It saddens me that Ford may use him to sell the ST. I've been waiting to look into one for the wife. Now every crooked flat-billed hat wearing dick is going to have one. I haven't kept up with WRC due to no TV, but why don't the other guys get together and one up this moron? Just surprised no one else has tried to copy cat and capitalize on the fan boys.

I like it. Some of the shots/jumps were pretty slick

EDIT: Needed more Pastrana.

So what, he still gets to drive the course and compete with them. Should he quit just because he isn't in the top 15? It's not like his sponsors are demanding he win or something.
maybe all the other F1 teams except Ferrari Mclaren and Red Bull suck and should quit cuz they are never gonna win a championship is the same kind of logic.
Raikkonen wasnt fast in WRC and he is a former F1 world champion, does he suck?

I recorded my commentary my first time watching the video through and then re-dubbed it.

To my original point- it's a shame that he's in the spotlight rep'n the USA and he's slow- thus my we want winner not a hero comment. Didn't say quit, he should improve. Unless he's incapable. Otherwise it's a waste of resources. You mentioned posers in your original post and I'm sure that's why many see him as a poser- he does all these flamboyant solo smokey videos like a hotshoe then shows up at a global race event and fails.

I love how the video keeps showing him mashing the pedal to the floor. Apparently, this is the typical skill level of those that enjoy this type of thing.

Very lame. The kind of thing I'd expect out of high school kids.

Edit: Full_Tilt_Boogie, your version was much more entertaining. And surprisingly, nearly as polished.
