Forget whistle tips and fake BOV's!
As I said, forget the whistle tips and fake BOV's. Those are for people outside the car. What's really needed is for you the driver, inside the car. Wish your Miata had an LS V8 swap but can't afford it? For a mere $39.95 you can't have the performance but you can have the sound!

I want to see a project car in a magazine that does everything possible to look and sound mean while being 100% stock and slow as *****. A pinacle of ricer gadgetry.
I mean all-out. Not just a kit, but a full-on paint job, great stance, huge tires, whistle tip, interfooler, fake BOV, that thing, cage, tow hooks, external shut-off, everything.

Not a magazine, but that should get you at least 90% of the way there .

I'm also not too against it. At least it's a sound kept to yourself in the car, and not WOOOO WOOOOOOOOOO Whistle tips. Maybe I should get one to prepare for a V8. Get used to the idea of having a V8 rumble under the hood of a *** car like the Miata.

I want a vacuum cleaner sound so I can feel like I'm back in the seat of a rotary. I guess I could just carry a Dust Buster in the passenger seat and leave it running all the time. Wouldn't get the RPM variation though unless I rigged it up somehow to vary the motor speed with the alternator. Actually, maybe a leaf blower would be closer to the sound.

I dunno. Sounds weird with the longer rev range, and with how slowly the revs climb it sounds like a weak v8. Still entertaining. Wonder when they'll make the raspy 4 cylinder version for the v8 folk.
