Default Spotted....the things wet dreams are made out of

So yeah.... today Jenn and I were heading back into Grand Junction after a nice trip over to the Gateway Auto Museum (pics of that will be up later)..we came across this. When it passed us, we had to really ask eachother if that really did just happen. So I turned around and chased it down....and found it feeding on some liquid dinosaur...

Yes...I have more pics that will get posted up later.

Wow, you definitely need to get those other pics up. I can't believe someone is just out driving that thing around, so awesome.

That is AWESOME.

Not just the car...but it being driven. God bless that owner.

More points if he was cool letting you drool on it and taking pics.

EDIT: p51....if I ever see you in person I owe you a good teabaggin'.

I used to know [through my dad] the owner of a Indy car race team, Tony Blair, of Blair Racing, they were childhood friends. Once when they were in Richmond we hung out with them at their trailer, he made sure to show us a binder full of photos of all his various cars, one of course was a McLaren F1, the pictures were taken at a private runway that he rented for the day so they could clock the top speed and have an overall fun time.

He was actually one of the first to get a Carrera GT, he brought it to a Porchse event up at Walkins Glen. The Porchse drivers all wanted to drive it or drive in it, but he only gave my uncle a ride.

Awesome. The grandfather of the modern supercar. Not as impressive by todays standards but still near the top of my list. The sounds they make are beautiful.

you can tell what it is by the subtle use of 1997's version of "tuner wheels" from a honda civic.

Well hell, you're just a pup. I was going to revoke your man card and issue you a new purse, but I guess you'll be ok. Study up on all of the 200mph+ supercars and you'll probably be alright.

I remember when Motor Trend tested this specific one, the LM, and reading/drooling about it back in the day.

I thought: "surely it can not get any better than this for the automotive world. This must be the PEAK"...Guess not

I still know what a Pantera and M1 are...

This is a true testament to the superiority of the McLaren design. You've never even heard of it, yet it's still used by Top Gear to compare to every new exotic.

EDIT:

18psi, I still have a poster of a yellow LM edition in my garage.

I dunno. Cars may have gotten nicer and faster, but I still think the F1 was kind of the "peak" of automotive awesomeness. Gives you a special tingle in your britches.

Pantera is one of my dream cars! Yum!

N/A, light weight, and room for TWO hotties since any guy driving one of these has to be able to pull threesomes regularly.

Might as well add me to the list. I saw that pic and wondered "what ugly POS is that? Looks like a kit car." I MIGHT have recognized it from the front but I wouldn't have bet my beer money on it.
