Run a 90 off the turbo to the passenger side fender, and go under the "frame rail". Then just make a shield for it to keep rocks off the filter.instant Cai and you don't have to run a gay Honda radiator...

15psi and you should easily be achieving 400whp on a GT35 turbo. It should be scary enough on that chassis.

Btw congrats on the car, even though I've learned to hate rotaries (working in a rotaty shop for the moment)

Do you know if the FD tranny will bolt up to the fc engine

lucky you got it and found out it was only a blown fuse.. the car hasnt been running good since it was built. congrats on the purchase.

that would be me...

i sold my 91, 92, built motor, and 4 guitars to buy it from the orriginal owner.. i tried to get ahold of him because i was ready to get it and he wouldnt reply to me anymore. its beeen passed around so many times, id hate to see a carfax on how many owners its had..

i tried buying it maybe a couple weeks ago. and he had no idea what was wrong and said the motor might have been junk. so i backed away.

some of my rotor head friends also said stay away due to 99% of the motor parts arnt interchangeable which this motor has something from everything.

I know the owner did the swap his name was earl he is from danbury. Im not sure how many people have owned the car but the guy i got it from said he got it from earl. But most of the problems where wiring fuses and tune. Waiting for the guy who knows how to tune the microtech ecu to have a open spot to tune the car. My worries is that it uses the NA rx7 tranny witch is the same tranny found in a miata just different gearing with the tail housing switch out for a miata so you can use the ppf along with stock drive shaft. The motor is all FC just the rotors are FD those are interchangeable and also better then the FC rotors.

the na fc tranny is a little stronger than the miata tranny. since you have a na fc tranny in there now, in order to swap to a fd or fc turbo tranny you will need to swap to there matching flywheel and clutch for which ever tranny you decide to use. coming originally from the rotary world, you will most likely have better luck with a fc turbo tranny. One thing to keep in mind is that the miata is so much lighter compared to the rx7s that you may not need the most heavy duty tranny.

I myself am currently gathering all the parts for a 13b miata. I plan on using a t2 fc tranny. My hp goals are about the same also (420-450whp)

nice set up by the way, how does the car idle with the itb turbo setup?

At the moment I couldn't tell you about the idle because it is still waiting for a tune witch should be this week. I found out the tranny was taken apart and that it got all new insides that had been cryo treated. So now that I have found this out I don't think I will end up needing a stronger tranny.
Then again only one true way to find out.

Rotatory's are strange, but seem to always sound amazing. Things are so tiny!

So got the car tune to 6psi due to the car had a stock NA clutch and it started to slip at 225whp&180wtq. even tho i had the slipping clutch it didn't stop me from driving it with out any boost but after 2 days of driving I had to pull out the motor due to bad bearings. So i went ahead and started to have the motor rebuilt. I had it ported as big as i could before going to a bridgeport. For apex seals i went with the RA SUPER SEALS, I also went and got my self another HTA turbo this one is a HTA3582R. For a clutch im going to run the clutch masters FX500 clutch, was going to order a light weight flywheel but once i pulled the motor i found a light weight flywheel with changeable surface disks.

So im hoping this spring i have everything in and done with a power goal of 400-500whp. I have a feeling my injectors are going to max out before i max anything out but we will see what happens.

here is a little info on the turbo i got, http://store.forcedperformance.net/m..._Code=Turbo-FP

Trunk has nothing but one of those small racing batts in it plus the engine is half the weight of the b6. Plus I don't have all the other crap on motor like emissions pump, ps, ac. The motor with everything on it is 280 and 240 with out it.

Your right your injector size is to small for your power goal, a 650/1000 maxed (80%) will only handle around 380hp.

A 750/1600 combo will handle 500hp no problem.

Here are some pics of the motor i just picked up for 500 big ones. going to use it as a spare so i can take my time to build a godly 13b with the old one. thinking of doing a bridgeport on it.
