I've inspected this over and over again. There is slight wear on the front wheel liners and I will trim them this winter. This is no further damage or abnormal tire wear of damage. So thanks for caring.

Right hand turn creaking is exhaust touching subframe.

Awesome! I'll consider myself lucky if I ever get to see the 'ring in person, much less drive on it.

BTW - I saw you what you did with that blue BMW..

Dudes, this guy has driven on the 'ring AND at Spa... what other awesome tracks have you passed through?

BTW - As many others, I'm jealous of your opportunity to play on the 'Ring. I spent many hours there in the 70s, but as a spectator...

Awesome video and pictures.

Looks like y'all have gay front license plate laws as well. Is it like that in all the EU countries?

Staggered my ***. This is 6ULs with more front camber than rear indeed.

Those are gay as hell, but what can you do. Some events are for road legal cars only. Some countries in de EU have better plates like Monaco or Luxembourg:

Something like 8.12's for breakfast and 8.01s after lunch. He doesn't do more than 3-4 laps a day. So, one 8.1x warmup and then a few 8.0x hot laps.

He is running an old T25 with 5th injector piggybag and it still runs.

Great to a see a FI'd mx5 go round there with a decent quality video. I went a couple of years ago on the R6 and had a great time. It's a wonderful place to be.

Impressive video, words can't describe how much I would love to run around that course. Something about the rolling hills and the constantly changing scenery is really enticing, way more complicated than a short track.

Next time you're planning a trip to the 'Ring shoot me a PM and I will most definitely find my way up there even though I don't have a vehicle over here yet.

Spooky did you see the famed Kermit from BtG forums? He lives next to the track for some reason and has done videos on enjoying the ring. 8'08" is his time but I'm unsure of his tuning. I'll try to dig out his "guide" as its always funny seeing him annoying a GT2.

8'46" isnt just good that is faster than ALOT of cars and others well done.

Edit: Just to say I've watched your vid a few times now and I am very impressed. I know people who have sunk 200k into cars and havent driven it as well as you but then when you own an international printing firm it doesnt matter much.
Is the overlay from RaceChrono?

Spooky,

The stills of the car hunkered down on the 'Ring with the 6UL's just made my friggin' week. Thank you.

If we get over there next fall, we'll look you up.

Thanks, no better video's of Spa. The Spa laps are with a Go Pro Hero Wide (not the HD version) and the image quality actually sucks pretty bad on thoise. I'm using the Vado HD since the 'ring and I will be using that one from now on. I'm not claiming it's High Definition (tm), it's just alot of pixels

It's not _THAT_ fast and some say it's too fast for my track knowledge. There are people who run these times in a N/A MX-5... Dale from BTG for example. Now, he's done a million laps or so, and I haven't. But also - there's this guy running 8'01" in a car similar to mine with around 300 laps. He's been a pro race driver though...

Edit: Just to say I've watched your vid a few times now and I am very impressed.
This is actually the lap where Ton is pointing out the bad lines. But with 20km, 73 official corners - it's pretty hard to pick up the racing line, at speed, in your 20th lap.

Is the overlay from RaceChrono?
Yes. RaceChrono plus TrackVision (bought).

You're welcome. I ran the morning on Pro Race 2's in 15x7 with 195/50R15 Toyo R1Rs because it was wet. Then it dried up and went to 224/45R15 R888's on my 6ULs. That is a HUGE difference.

We also did a comparison a few weeks ago at Spa Francorchamps:
- 205/50R15 - 12yr old summer tyres
- 195/50R15 - Yokohama A048's on 15x7
- 225/45R15 - R888's on 15x8
Needless to say, the R888's on 6ULs 3s faster and were much more progressive than the R048's.

If we get over there next fall, we'll look you up.
Excellent! I'll e-mail you some details to contact me.
