Wow, that's unreal. I know they did some suspension tuning on those, but tracking the thing?

395ft-lbs FTMFW.

Meh, that's a Trail Blazer SS.

6.0-liter pushrod LS2 engine that produces 400 pound-feet of torque at 4000 rpm, Available AWD and a "sport tuned suspension" 0-60 in 5 seconds and the quarter mile in under 14 seconds in stock trim.

Reminds me of my first track day in my current Miata. Bone stock 93 (except for Konis and Azenis) on the big track at Willow Springs. Way underpowered, BIG track. My buddy is there with his Nissan Titan because he is doing some suspension development and asks me to follow him for a few laps before he points me by so I can get some in car footage of the rear suspension in action so he'll know what to tweak. Well, I never got the point by. I couldn't keep up. I consoled myself that it would have been different on Streets of Willow, but I'll never know for sure!

I've got an '06 SS 2wd and they handle pretty good for what they are, but there is no way it should be passing that cobra. Apparently that guy is a no driving bitch.

the person driving is an instructor...the kid driving the cobra is not :P

cobra is probably good for a 0-60 of 4.8 and a 1/4 mile of 13.6

Maybe his track car is dead. I took out my wife's CX-7 when I corded my last tire on my SM. I think I was more nervous about what my wife said than just taking the CX-7 on track. Wife: If you take it off the track like you do your miata, you will not get lucky for a while!! Needless to say, I let alot of other instructors just pass and pass and pass..

No, that part is easy to believe. I prove it every time I manage to haul my lazy butt out to an AutoX event.

Yeah. Last time I went out, I took sixshooter for a ride and managed to exit the course into the grass. Then I handed him the keys and he beat my best time of the day by .8 seconds on his first lap ever in a turbo Miata.

Ya I remember reading about that haha. I actually just did an autox in the rain yesterday and improved my driving A LOT! There is a lot to be learned at a wet autox
