Default My car is (finally) out of the paint booth!

The color is "Polished Metal Metallic" and is a Honda color, from the
new '09 Accord. TONS of metal flake.

The ghost stripe is the same paint mixed with white pearl and extra
silver metallic flakes. The effect is subtle but looks fantastic in
sunlight.

This is a good day.

Please excuse the camera phone pics. My painter kinda surprised me with this today. Real pics will come when I reassemble the car.

I did not like that color when I worked at Honda. However, it looks GREAT on your car! Love the ghost stripes too!

I chose the color to compliment my nickel 6ul's. lol. I also got the smoked ebay marker lights and front turn signals.

Not thrilled with the color or the flakes, but the paint looks good either way. Ghost stripes are pretty cool I suppose. Be sure to post more when its back together. Cant wait to paint mine.

Looks great, I like that the painter didn't just mask things off. Subtle stripes look good too, congrats!

Congrats! Nice paint job! Glad to hear you were pleasantly surprised by your painter. I've heard too many paint job horror stories.

Best I can do with the light available and my cheap camera. The car is kinda dirty from running around this week. I can't wait to put my Tein's on it!

Exactly what I had considered doing on the black car-same color scheme except even more ghost/closer to base color stripes, like they almost weren't there...

I really like it.

Same here. I'd like to get my car repainted one day (probably never happen, but a man can dream right?). If I did, it would be silver with the faintest silver stripes. Like you said, barely their.
