Default Your other/old cars

Was just looking through some of my old picture folders and found some shots of old cars Ive long since sold. Makes me wish I had them back (some of them). Any of you have any old car pictures, stuff you used to drive and sold, or may still own and drive often. Something out off Miata for a while.

Here are a few of mine that I could find pictures of. Most are still on old HHD's.

My '95 Prelude, it was a blast to drive. Sadly probably the fastest car Ive owned, even though Ive had Turbo II RX7's. Was mostly stock with exhaust and intake and a header, mostly for looks and dound at the time. Compression was raised a bit over stock, which was already pretty high. Plus it had VTEEEECCCC!!!!!

Here is my TurboII from just before I dold it. It was acting up, and I didnt have the time or money to deal with it, so I let it go for an absolute steal. Paid $4000 for it, dropped $3-$4 into it, then sold it for $1700. Im smart... It ended up not living out its dream, and just lived his short life at 12psi on stock turbo and engine. Fun car, but not a monster.

Not very good pcitures, just the ones I could find. I have a whole 60GB HDD filled with old media, just cant find it.

My other RX7's, a first gen in black. very fun car. Mikuni 40mm carbs and a full streetport RB exhaust system. No title, so no go. Im sort of in the process of getting another FB runnung using the old black ones parts. Engine is in, new clutch and flywheel, and another $1k of extra parts, but they have all been sitting in the car, in the rain. So Im sure the engine with no fluid is completely frozen up. I mostly wanted the newer green FB for the interior.

Nice for a 25 year old car.

Nice cars man.

Dont even know where to begin with mine, I think I'll just post a few of the more recent ones. Dont want to ***** up this whole thread with all of them

My most recent 2 rsx's ( had 4 of them ):

Before you ask, yes those are REAL carbon fiber hood/fenders, not just some decals. 5zigen rims, fully built motor, completely redone suspension, and a shitload of other things. I basically poured all my life's savings into that car at the time, and found out that no matter what you do to an rsx, its still fwd and not a race car. Boy did I have fun on it though The other type-s was bone stock and my daily driver.

My wrx's through their various different style changes:

The 05 had turboback exhaust and tune and did low 13's.
The 07 went through 5 different turbo setups and a shitload of different mods. Did everything from low 14's to mid/high 11's....Absolutely loved that car with all my heart, and will get one again for sure. Love the miata and will keep it, but people that have never owned a good subaru will never understand how incredible that car is. My life just wont be complete if I dont own at least 1 more subaru

Here are my other toys that I have had the pleasure to enjoy:

Dont mind the superman pajama's and me being young and skinny...long time ago...I am a fatass now
and some more

Not cars but I cannot pass up a chance to talk about them

Hmm, I normally don't do these...

Second car. Had a 1776cc engine and a Weber DFEV. Heavy, slow, and a hugely gay color. But it was fun:

No pictures of the one before that. It was a Baja-converted VW Sedan. Rusty, crappy, indestructible. Looked a lot like this one, only in much poorer condition:

In college, a Honda CB250 joined the fray:

Next were a Geo Metro LSi convertible & a Grand Am. No pictures of those.

The garage looked like this for a while:

I sold the Celica for $250 when I left Ohio, and got rid of the Integra after I arrived in CA and realized that I hadn't driven it for four months.

Latest addition was this fella, who I sold when I left CA:

I love that subbies! I am a subaru fanatic and I haven't even owned one yet. Just if they were a little cheaper. I plan on joining that family when I'm out of college.

I'm bored, and snowed in, so pardon my boredom turning this into a long post, lol.

I don't have pics of my first 2 cars (I probably have some buried somewhere, but they would have to be scanned in). First car was a light blue 79 Datsun 280zx, that I drove the first year I had my license. It was rusty and not real reliable, so it got handed down to my little sister. The next 2 years I had a maroon 88 Pontiac Bonneville. It broke a telephone pole in two, and I replaced it with this beauty (lol):

(1993-2000, but the lowrider wheels were only on it for about 6 months in 94) - 88 Buick Regal

When I finally graduated from Purdue, I got this:

(2000-2001)

I got ran off the road and totalled it, and the first replacement car was a ballin' 87 Accord LX that I DD'd for about a year or two, while this was my "fun car"

(2002-2005) - 95 300zx TT

My next DD, after the Accord decided to start spewing coolant from somewhere on the back of the head:

(2003-2004) - 1991 Eagle Summit, aka "Teh Scrummit". I paid $316 for it on ebay, it was fun in a "driving this makes me want to kill myself" kind of way. It was hilarious when I autocrossed it though due to the Z being terminally under repair.

After teh Scrummit threw the timing belt in what I can only figure was an attempt at suicide, I sold it for $1 to a friend who ended up putting a re-man engine in it and it has now become the town ***** on our local message board. I decided that since the Z was down more than up that I wanted a DD a little nicer, and more fun, so I went back to the Honda roots and bought another 00 Civic Si, this one the less-attention grabbing black, and also fully prepped for DSP autocross competition.

I was tired of my green Z being broken down all the time, and another one popped up for sale with some nice upgrades (not that 430whp was all that shabby, lol). So I sold the green car and picked up this one.

[2005-2008) - 1993 300zx TT

I ended up selling the white Z and the Civic both last summer when I made up my mind to buy a miata to DD and build for SM2 solo competition. Fortunately I sold both cars right before I got laid off, but unfortunately I was forced to live off the proceeds instead of building up the miata as quickly as I would have liked. I'm getting there though - I have been bargain hunting and now have everything except oil/water lines, IC piping, DP, and exhaust. I am waiting for warmer weather to finish though - here is the 94 miata yesterday.

Wow, some of you have some seriously nice car collections. I'm jealous. I gotta wait until I pay off my school debt before I can buy something else.

Here is the only other car I've ever owned, except mine was tan.

1985 Olds Calais Supreme. 125hp V6. Somehow I broke an engine mount just flooring it once. I do not miss that piece of junk.

My friend has a 93' GS 1.8L. It is great car. He is getting a kl-ze built in Cali. I love it when people ask how big his engine is and he says 1.8l, then they say oh 4 cylinder and he says nope v6. Their mouths drop and they go what? It actually sounds real good in the high rpms. Almost indy pitch. Did yours also? or was it his exhaust?

My Mr2, it had a Gen 3 3SGTE swap, a built bottom end, and a set of cams. It ended up making 310hp @18psi on the stock turbo. I was gonna upgrade the turbo, but ended up selling it after I got tired of dumping stupid amounts of money on it. Blue tape is to protect from rock chips on track, (Cabaniss field was super gritty.)

My Mercedes 190E 16V project car. Progress has been stalled for about a year because of MR2/Miata projects. I'm torn between restoring it to stock aside from the suspension, or swapping in a 1Jz, and putting the factory EVOII body kit on it. Right now talk is cheaper.

My YSR50. Although never quite street legal, it was still my first vehicle I ever owned and purchased with my own money.
