How y'all doing?
My name is James and I am from Florence, SC. I am a full time college student. I have owned a Miata since February 2015. I have been studying forums on Miata.net and Miataturbo.net since about 6 months before I bought a Miata. I am about ready to pull the trigger on FI after a couple more months of research.

The things that hurt me the most about my Miata is:
1. Getting blown away buy an overzealous minivan driving soccer mom.
2. people laughing at me getting in and out of the Miata. (maybe because I'm kinda big and tall, maybe because it's the coolest thing they have seen all day)

So nice meeting you and I hope one day to become a productive member of this forum.

Thread needs more photos...

Goals with miat? ALLOFIT?

The usual reply will include,

GAET A MEGAHSQUIRTZ ECU FIRST & LEARN TO TUNE.

Do this while you're stock, adding boost later will be a breeze.

FM no electronics kit & you're set.

Don't forget to get a clutch.

Hey Braineack and Girz0r

Girz0r,
I will try to upload pictures soon.
For my Miata I will be running a DIYPNP. The short term goals are 180 whp with either a turbo or supercharger, with some decent used injectors and a FM stage 1 clutch kit. I'm looking at a couple of hotside mp-62s right now. For a turbo I would get the FM no electronics kit. I'm still going to look for some good deals on a turbo or supercharger. Whatever I find the best deal on will be what I go with. Long term goal a mild build and aprox. 250whp with whatever I end up getting.

You don't really need to build the motor for that power goal.
Supercharger will not get you there.
FM kit will.
