My Bud SAMNAVY has introduced me earlier and taught me Etiquette at MiataTurb@ http://www.miataturbo.net/images/smilies/noob.gif
Call me Lee or what evercomes to mind. Current Ride ‘9910AE, 4.43 MHz Crystal, AEM Intake and cold air box, Exhintake cam on mod cam gear, headers & catback, COP & dwell reducer under construction . This ’99 replaces my 2000 SE MX5 that the wife Totaled. Also torn between Turbo or 11:1.1 Pistons due work drive, 118 miles a day all at 80mph. Just moved into a house with a 2 car garage!!! Now I just drive fast, back in the mid 80’s I AutoX a Datsun. My son spends all his money on a ’07 A4 Quattro and is contemplating a older Miata as a beater.
My annual Mecca is 4 days at Sebring FL for the 12Hrs and support races. Now that I've move north I may add 24hrs of Daytona and Petite Lemans at Road Atlanta.

WOOHOO!!! That's what I'm talking about! Nice post.

Most people underestimate the mileage available with full fuel control. I get 26+ boosting the crap out of it all the time and my cruise fuel is a very rich 15:1. Next time I do some tuning I'm gonna tune for 17:1 and pick up a few MPG.
For your mileage pleasure, look into Xede and some 3.636 gears with your 6-spd and I bet you can get in the 35mpg range in cruise. It'll take some time to recover the cost of the gears in gas savings, but it gets you back your use of first gear if you're gonna boost it. Great for the commute whether you go high-compression or boost. If you can't do a Megasquirt, Xede is the next cheapest way to go for full engine control.

There's no shortage of beater Miata's lying around in Florida... if he's patient, he'll find one in great shape with low miles that some old lady just wants out of her driveway.

Since this Pic my hood and bumper were customized by crash. I have a new bumper from Ground Dynamics, it has larger openings for fog lights or brake ducting and a built in lip. I may replace the hood or vent it. Undecided.

The skull is just something I've played with because of my last name, can get what kind of skull it is?
Sorry for the big pics.
