Talking Hello

Well i just kicked the DSM habbit, i was sick of my car breaking down every 2 weeks... i just picked up a 91 miata and am taking part in the DIY turbo kit, i havemost of the parts and HOPE to finish by the end of summer.

I currently have a stock, 1.6 with an ugly body(dings and dents) but no rust and in wisconsin i find that to be the best thing of all

I plan on swapping in a 96 Escort gt 1.8 (auto motor) and plan on turbo'n it

Current mods are: (none installed)
Walbro fuel pump
DSM 450 cc injectors (with resister pack)
Td05h Small 16g turbo
Turbo back exhaust with test pipe
T25/28 exhaust manifold
1g talon BOV
Wide band
Make shift boost controler
Evo VIII front mount
2.5 ic pipes

most of these parts are from my 91 awd Talon

Looking into:
Megasquirt
protege cams
light flywheel/ turn mine down
clutch
pressure plate

I plan to run 11-15 psi ive read a lot of people running 15psi 20,000 plus miles
Daily driven running 8-10 Psi

Id be happy to hit 250 hp anything over would be nice aswell

Thank you for taking the time to read this and Welcoming me to this forum im sure i will spend countless hours on here

Welcome to the board. Going 1.8 will definitely make your life a bit easier in the power department. Just start off with some good engine management (AEM or Megasquirt) and you'll be fine.
