Default '93 black & tan NA in Seattle

Hello.

My name is Zeke, I'm 50 and I live in the middle of Seattle. I just bought my NA in June, and it's my first Miata, although I'm no stranger to them.

My car was originally delivered as a US Spec Miata to a dealer in the UK under a program for US servicemen. It eventually made its way back to the states and in 2004 it was purchased by my father, who was a Mazda employee from about 1975 up until the early 2000s. He bought it as a toy for his retirement and kept it super clean. Recently, his health has deteriorated to the point that he can no longer drive, so back in June he asked me to sell his Miata for him. After driving the car and looking it over well, and seeing how clean and meticulously maintained it has been, I decided I could not allow this car to leave our family... so I sold my toy (a really oddball '98 Firebird Formula) and bought his Miata from him.

My plan with this car is to keep it exactly like it is now... all original, bone stock, and super clean. So why am I here? My plan is to purchase a second Miata that I can mod, and I would very much like to get into forced induction... so I want to do my research here before I purchase the car I'd like to mod.

Anyway... here's some pictures of my Miata... it's completely stock, and has about 67K miles on it. It came equipped with the C-Package (tan top & leather interior, power accessories, cruise control), hardtop, and VLSD.

Yes, they were just taken about a month or so ago. The interior is nearly perfect.. the exterior does have flaws, but it's still in excellent shape. This car has been garaged since it was new and meticulously maintained... it's really like driving a brand new NA.
