Default So I'm new....

****** GOT OUR MIATA TODAY ******
My stepdad and I picked up our new project miata today! It's a 95 with 139k on the clock. Runs pretty good with a little lifter noise. Can't wait to wash it up and take some pics tomorrow! Here are the ones from the for sale ad for now.

I'm so excited to get to work!
************************************************** *************************************************

Hey guys I'm Pat and I'm from Montana. I joined this site to learn more about miatas and research for my next project. I don't currently own one and due to past experience, I'd like to learn as much as I can about these cars so I can make an informed decision when the time comes to buy one. I love the idea of a light, reasonably inexpensive rwd platform. I intend to turn it into my weekend track/autox car. My first car was an 88 Mazda MX-6 GT and now I currently own a wrx swapped Impreza 2.5RS.

I'm still working on the RS but when it's finally paid off I'll be ready to start my miata project. I hope to learn a lot from you guys!

if you need to learn all performance related miata info, this is the right place. Do lots of searching and dont start stupid threads and you will do great here...

I wouldnt mind seeing more pictures of your rs if you have any. I LOVE THAT CAR

Sorry I should've specified. I live in Missoula, Montana.

Gave the car a good wash today and snapped a few pics. Enjoy!

^Haha no joke man. When we were looking at it we thought "oh no biggie it's just a plastic piece..." come to find out that plastic piece goes for like 150 bucks! Oh well, I might have to get crafty and fab something up.

Btw, I know the american racing wheels are generic and suck, but they came on the car and they're 15x7's. They should get us through the season until we can afford some team dynamics or something along those lines. Our first focus is going to be tires. Hopefully we'll have a set of hankooks or kumhos by the first autocross, which is slated for late march.

Those rims are actually pretty nice when you take the center caps off and lower the car. The center caps suck.
They look way better without the caps.

Nice CAR!
