Default Hey from PA

Been lurking for some time, mostly peeing in the pool over at Club Roadster. Now that forced induction is in the near future I feel it's time to make friends. I'm OK at making things clean and wrenching, but boost and tuning are not my strong points. GT2560R, ARTtech, MSPNP, and some other goodies are about to go into the machine so I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions for you swollen brains.

I keep a project journal on my site here for those who would like some more info.

To sum things up here is a sexy lady

A cute kitten

And I really like this smilie.

That car looks familiar. You were just at that Lansdale dyno day right?

Yes I was! I had to basically dial in MS in a few days so the tune is extremely rough. I have some learning to do before the turbo.

Well seems you have the basics.

Dunno about your black stripe, but what-evs.

If there wasn't a sexy lady and kitten I'd probably have more stuff to say.

Is it just the angle or does one tire have more camber?

Looks pretty good though.

Stripe was done by previous owner, but I'll roll with it.

Yes the rear shot was early on before it got a proper alignment.

HUH?!?! You spoke to Artie? OH NO! Damn, I hope he didn't leave a bad impression.

j/k - Artie is a good guy and very helpful. The mob is spread out across the tri-state area, so we don't get together too often. You can expect a few tech days throughout the summer where you can pick up a lot of turbo information. We have the notorious Paul and Turbotim in our stable. With their enormous amounts of FI knowledge, you don't have an excuse to not be turbo'd soon.

I left the dyno about 11:30ish? What time did you get there?
I really like your radiator overflow can, and holy **** that's one clean engine bay.

Read through the blog. First of all, you should look into a coolant reroute. The #4 cylinder that had rod knock and took out your stock motor is notorious for not getting even cooling, which might have broke the old motor.

Also, any idea where those turn signals are from? ebay?

I got to the dyno day around 2PM, after all the Miatas left :(

I have an M-Tuned rear housing, Davies Craig electric water pump / controller, and Mishimoto X-Line radiator waiting to go in! Just need some time to put everything in, I'll make a post about it and possibly dyno to see if the WP frees up horsepower.

The turn signals and tails are tinted with nightshade.

I'm a week deep in putting a GT2560R on the car. Any PA / NJ Megasquirt users able to help with me with setting up a basemap?

Those XXR Banana sport wheels with the red stripe seem to be popular, my old miata had them. I guess the red stripe matched miata red paint.
