Default New Platform & drivetrain layout

Hey guys! I recently picked up a Miata and I have joined a few Miata forums so I will just copy my intro from one of them!

I am a FWD Honda kid coming into the Mazda world, I have previously owned a 91 Acura integra, and I currently own 3 Honda Accord CD chassis, two 94's and one 96. I have always been a honda kid at heart but for some reason I was always attracted to the NA Miata chassis. Ever since I had first seen them as a kid, I just knew there was some fun to be had in them and I never knew why, Until I managed to get my hands on one.

Browsing the local classified I spotted a 91 mazda Miata, Smurf Blue. The owner wanted $2200 and I booked a time to view the vehicle. I took the thing out for a drive and I came back grinning ear to ear, it was probably the most fun I had in any vehicle. I shot back and forth with the owner and managed to pick the thing up for $1700. It needed a bit of work which I promptly got onto And boy RWD is so much easier to work on! So much room!

I replaced:
The Radiator
The clutch master and slave
Reverse switch(reverse lights where broken)
Front swaybar end links
And I also:
Re-duct taped the rear window on the roof (hehehe)
De-blacked out the ricey signals/sidemarkers
Gave her a nice ol wash and a wax

The car drove great until I blew out the 1.6L diff so I'm currently trying to source a new 1.8L diff or another 1.6 to hold me off for a while.

Here's a photo of me and my Toy the day I got her

I currently have my eyes on a Set of Pirelli P-slots for my wheels, here's a photo of them, although mine are coming with center caps!

Thanks for reading!
