Hello i have a 94M and i am probably purchasing a BEGI S3 today for it. I have been reading for the past couple months and i think i am ready to make my decision. The car checks out fine 180 compression all four, leak down done 100k miles.

For now i am buying everything carb legal (Read Bandaid) but adding on the MSPNP since when you purchase it with the turbo you get it at a discount. Than when time, and smog worries permit i will purchase used 550cc injectors, have them cleaned, than hook up the MSPNP and work on tuning it. Than work on turning the boost up.

I know that is not the recommended way but i need to be comfortable with getting the car to be fully compliant because of two things. One the fact that another member has been pulled over with BEGI + MSPNP and sent to the ref, and two so when i have to smog the car in a year i can take it wherever i want including the state ref and have it pass.

I will also be getting a Act HD with 6puck, Enthuza and a rollbar, tein flex are going in in july when they arrive from Japan, and i think that is it for the first round of mods.

Great first post. The awesome thing about a true PnP ECU that doesn't require an hacking of the factory harness is that it should take you about 1hr to swap back to your CARB setup.

So, if you're sticking with the stock fuel pump, install the AFPR and retard the timing to 6*. Use your wideband to get as good a tune as possible on the stock injectors.

The fuel pump is going to be replaced as per the Carb E.O. just trying to decide which one, BEGI offers the regular 190 and 255 but i think i want to go with a 190HP for both set ups so i will be talking to them when i first asked them seemed to think it wouldn't fit but i am pretty sure that is not true, so i might have to go outside BEGI for the fuel pump.

Thanks for the info on that other thread i will be getting the two cold side pipes one with MAF delete and one with it there that was already arranged.

I will work on profile and signature tonight i need to try to buy the turbo before July 1st (price increase) so busy working on the details for that.

The 190HP is the way to go. On the 1.8 injectors, it'll give you enough fuel for about 200whp on either of the GT25's... but you'll be around 12psi and 110-120psi which isn't a a good idea on rubber fuel lines. I'd plan on keeping the boost DOWN in the 6-8psi range when you're using the AFPR and keep your fuel pressure down in the 80psi range.

Well i plan on running a carb legal set up at least for a while, with the bandaids, and only around 8psi, i still have to do my homework on upgrading the fuel lines if i am going to run more than that without the MSPNP, i know that. Maybe you know but is full fuel line replacement with fuel injected, or high pressure lines, legal in california?

When i do switch to the MSPNP i will go with cleaned 550cc injectors, and looking to push up the boost, would the 190hp still be ideal in the 200-230whp range or should i be looking at the 255 or 255hp.

I am going to run the GT2560 and stock internals on the engine, at least for the first couple years i don't plan on changing anything in the engine so 240whp would probably be my max for now. I think i will wait for the engine to pop before i swap out internals.
