Default grunts know where to go

Hello, my name is Chad and I bought a 99 miata after crashing not one but two brand new civic si's with lots of goodies on them. Was about to buy another one and stumbled upon a white miata which needed some love. Recently put a t25/t28 on it and kinda of ran out of money since I got out of the Army and started school again. Trying to learn about miatas since I had been kind of a honda guy for 9 years or so. So far auto cross is much more fun from my 07 si to my NB. looking to megasquirt soon and then up the boost to 10 or so. so im sure Ill be on here looking for answers.

You crashed two FWD cars and now you've upgraded to RWD w/ turbo.

Your next post: "How do I DIY harness install?" or "Where can I get a cage welded in?"

Well stupidity was a big factor, I was home on leave both times and heavy drinking with some friends and family before going back to the big **** hole for the 2nd and 3rd time was at hand. I crashed the 07 at 115 on a curvy road but a few deers sitting in the road early morning was not factored into my plan, drinking+115mph+deer=Miata, I can vouch for the safety rating on those cars. No deer was killed in the crashing of this Honda. I know what your saying , I thought about just getting something I couldn't put power to, but if I can survive three rotations as a grunt, I see life a little different and do not drink and drive anymore. I have been wrong before...

and the NB is just an auto cross car and an occasional cruiser, I have a Jeep, and an 88 civic for the daily and it takes all day to get up to 70 in it. My better half drives the Jeep to work.

Thanks, looking to roll and pull the fenders and get the suspension set up right its not to even and likes to get a little squirrelly on the track/street. For the price it was not bad a few easy fixes here and there. Work in progress

Mmmmm. My friend has the Sportmax 002 15X8 w/ the 0 offset, but he hasn't put them on, waiting on his suspension setup funds to come in, plus he needs to roll his fenders..

Well a buddy of mine has the same set up but has Stance coil overs, he told me you have to roll flat and pull an inch all the way around and will have not rubs. He drifts his with this setup so Im going to go with it just not the stance Im a tein fan. Im still trying to sell my flexs off the 07. Im trying to find someone who can roll them around here, thats proving to be difficult.

Thanks, I took a major factor out of the equation, I quit spending money on booze and started spending it on my car. Just trying to raise some more to get the tune on it.

I was an 11b20 the whole time got out at a SGT in a SSG slot. Would love to go back but 3rd times a charm in the great sand box. So civilian life is looking pretty nice right now.

Cool, Iraq or Afghanistan? I know Afg isn't really the sandbox but some people don't make that distinction. I spent 6 months in Kuwait and did R&R in Doha, rode in crashhawks over Basra a bit. Got any good deployment pics to share?
