Default Newb in Montreal says Thank You

I just finished reading the "DIY FaQ - ALL your answers in one big post" thread.

I had no clue how much was involved in setting up a turbo-charged car.

I've ordered Corky's book. Thank you.

Sixteen things I never thought of:

1. Ignition Control
2. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
3. Fuel injectors
4. High pressure fuel pump
5. O2 Signal Modifier (O2 Clamp)
6. Boost control
7. Intercooling
8. Blow off/air bypass valves
9. Clutch
10. Exhaust system
11. Heat shielding
12. Oil Supply and Return
13. Rear End
14. Water Lines
15. Wideband O2
16. Full ECU

.

John, welcome! Great that you read it, but now make sure to know that if you do decide to turbo your car and you go with #16, you won't need to worry about #2, #4 and #5.

That's good to know. Right now, I think I'm going to start by building a Megasquirt this winter and using it on the stock 1.6.
