Canadian Turbo Noob
Hey, im SKAR. I live in Ontario and I like to party.
Growing up Miatas were gay cars, I was surrounded by muscle cars. A few years ago I took a liking to them when I was about 17 but getting a clean-ish one here was way more then I could afford.
Fast forward a few years and quite a few autocrosses later.
On my way home from commandeering my parents PT Cruiser well they were out of town I came across a ghetto car lot with 3 Miatas.
Picture of why I "borrowed" their PT Cruiser for the lulz
and my Miata on the lot the first time I saw it
Nice blurry picture
$4950, 90' 1.6, obviously red... 75k on it and brought up from Florida
I had no real job or idea what I was going to do.
So I bought it, and about a month later got a job (mechanic apprentice) at a GM stealership. I drove the car for the rest of the summer, painfully up hills with its massive lack of power and had sick thoughts daily of what was in its future.
November hit and it was shoved in my garage to be replaced by my supercharged buick winterbeast.
Ive bought a 96' 1.8 and a ebay turbo for motivation. I have a stage 5 compclutch coming anyday now as well as clutch line and intercooler.
Im at the point where im starting to order everything and I lurk this forum daily so I figured id make an intro thread thats too long with no importance. So.... Hi
I also did a bunch of little things to the car over the few months I drove it
Pictures before I put it away
And my car as of a few days ago

Ill add I want somewhere around 300whp, im hoping anyways.
This is the turbo I ordered, which will hopefully last for a bit.

Im going to order pnp MS and intake and exhaust manifolds in the next few weeks. Im also fairly set on getting a synapse synchronic bov. Im unsure on what wastegate but im going external with a dump pipe.
Summer once its on the road will involve wheels, a few body parts. Next winter hopefully a forged 1.8
