Default LittleBlueMiata from Orlando, FL

Hello guys. My name is Omar and I live in Orlando, FL.

Some seven months ago my brother was in the market for a cheap but fun rear-wheel drive to daily and occasionally auto-x. He was almost exclusively looking to buy a 240sx; that is until I suggested he consider a Miata.

Seven months later this is the result:

Sorry, I guess the images are not working?

1992 Mazda Miata

The original color was Mariner Blue but when we bought the car we were told it had been repainted in some STI blue.

The car came with a stage two clutch, we changed the brake master cylinder and calipers. We also had to replace the oem Bilstein shocks due to rust issues (we actually replaced most of the suspension due to said issues), the new shocks are from NB Mazdaspeed (the car sits a little higher but as far as driving stability it all worked out for the best).

Pics work now. I know you probably already know this but that style bar won't protect you in a rollover, I've heard them called human mousetraps.

Thank you all for the nice replies.

I had been told that the style bar is purely cosmetic but did not know it could be dangerous. Ideally the Miata would be fitted with a Hard Dog but for right now I suppose it is best to run it bare.

As for a suspension drop, that will most likely remain but a dream for some time.

For the time being the car is fulfilling its purpose one corner at a time
