The big question is, what are you going to use to control spark and fuel?

What kind of controller is it? Are you talking about the powercard, and the voodoo box?

both will "work", but neither will be particularly good.
are you considering buying each kit new?
if so, just order the non-electronics kit from FM and purchase a proper ecu

"Proper ecu"? You mean the boxes provided by those manufactures won't be good enough to support my needs?
Why are you trying to overload my brain capacity? Clearly I have searched and have read everything possible pertaining to this question...

Before we go any further - what are the vehicle inspection laws in Denmark? Do they plug the car in yearly or bi-yearly to check OBD or something similar? Do they do any underhood inspections or anything?

Ideally you want a standalone ECU like a Megasquirt, AEM EMS, Haltech, etc. However, those won't return the codes necessary for inspection in some areas and so depending on the frequency of the inspections you may be stuck with another option.

In regards to actual models? FM has a good reputation. There will also be a rotrex based supercharger kit coming soon that looks pretty solid.

Inspektion in DK are every 2 years. The kit mounted will be writen to The car and i have to pay tax for the hp inprovement.
But that is fine, just have to get The right kit.

the difference is roughly 300 dollars.
the difference in performance and efficiency is worth way more than that.

you're going to need to start doing more research so you can start asking less stupid questions. we will only be nice for a little while, and then you will understand why this place has a reputation for not spoon feeding new members.

Standard Voodoo II: $3,345
Non-Electronics FM II: $2,995

What year is your car? YES, it will cost a bit ($200-$400) more than if you bought the FM Voodoo box but an actual EMS will give you a better more reliable car in the long run.

DIYPNP Nippon Denso 76pin Unassembled Kit DIYAutoTune.com

Almost everyone agrees that the stock motor can take up to 220lb/ft of torque before you need upgrades such as rods. That equates to roughly 250hp. Your clutch will need to be replaced long before that.

Here is a page on this exact model and what needs to be done. You will also need a wideband oxygen sensor...

What we are trying to say is that you should probably go with a standalone ECU instead of the bandaids that come with either of those kits. A standalone ECU will work with whatever setup you go with, but give you far more control over the engine then the piggybacks. After you get a standalone in and tuned you can then decide which is better for you.

I would suggest checking out Reverants offerings from MSLabs. He is in Greece and it would probably be easier to get one from him then from the US.
