Hey guys

So a little about me.
Hey I'm Jeff, nice to meet you allway tooo nice guy for MT. I live in Lower Michigan kinda sorta nearish Battlcreek if any of you are from around here, its about an hour drive not at 140mphfrom Detroit. I'd say im a technology and modernif by modern, you mean 1989 tesstaroossa bodykit fanboy car enthusiast. I never really liked older style vehicles, infact anything beyond the 90's is straight out uglyhoping to fit in with this statement to me and non appealing. So with that I'd say I live for the futurewhen i can take the kit off my car and whats to come out of it. What can I say, I love technology and I feel the Iphonei just got one last week, bout time was god sending me a gift.. lol...
This car will be the first car I ever did anything turbo wise witheven tho i will be unsuccessful, so im pretty new to the turbo scenebut ive been around bodykits forever. I have researched quite a bit on the subject but with reading does not = Hands on experiance or experiance in general. So if you all will have me, im sure at some point ill have a million questions over the course of my car project.
Now to my car.
I have a 1994 mazda miata with the 1.8bp. I bought the car used with 81k miles, a broken windshield wiper motor and a rust spot near the passanger side rear quarter panel water drain hole. So I fixed all those problems and ever since then I been planning/scheming what I am going to do with the car(keep in mind this is last year during spring/summer. When I bought the car I had a plan in mind already, this was going to be my project car and I have allways wanted to do a tuner car.thats it? i bet your facebook sux
The car useto be a Laguna blue color (which I absolutly hated) and had plans to change over the course of my work to the car. Heres a few shots of my car as it was last summer/winter after adding my widebody autokonexion kit.
Dont mind the oasis t shirt, he really likes that song, wonderwall lol, those along with the hood and headlights will also change when I can afford to do so. So anyways after leaving it like that over winter there is some minor work I need to do. I plan the change the rear quartpanel molding to be more edgy like a stealth fightercause i'm 14 instead of smoothing it out to blend into the car. This leads me to now and current plans.
My current plans for the looks of the car this spring/summer are:
1. Redo some of the molding and touch up around the wheelwells and paint the car midnight blue
2. Get a new hood
3. New lowprofile headlights or flush
4. Get the vented turn signal mounts
5. Rims/tires
6. I'm also considering a spoiler just because I know how light the car feels going 140bullshit and I feel some downforce at the rear would help quite a biti imagined what a nascar driver would say after he looked at my bodykit.
So lots of work ahead of me in that department.. lol.
Now lets get to what am doing right this moment
So anyways, driving my car its pretty apparent the throwout bearing is going bad so I bought the Flying Mita happy meal kitwe saw pics of the turbo, lets see the FM swag (Stage 1 clutch + 10.3pound flywheel) I'm going to be droping the tranny this weekend and installing those parts. I also was going to install the turbo I own, I pretty much have everything you need to do the install besides the any sort fo fuel management =( yes I know, bad move in my part - But I can wait to install that after I get some more cash flowing in. Don't mind the boys Silky. They can be a little harsh when they are ribbing the new guys. It is a rite of passage to drive away those with no patience or a hot temper. If you stick around long enough you will see it isn't personal when they get personal.
There is a tremendous amount of knowledge in our archives and wisdom in our ranks. The best bet is to read build threads and study the trial and error of others who have gone before. Good luck.
