ok..........i was born in Ireland, lived in trinidad (caribbean).......then spent 5 yrs in UK doing an engineering degree...........now i lecture in Ohio USA
i have a 93 white miata.just bought it........
plans:
rotary bridge turbo 13b
stand alone
wide body
15x8 wheels

need to sell the rx7 first though..lol

then do some autocross and mid ohio runs


dont know how to make my location appear on my avitar and i dont have any pics yet of miata

so i won my first autocross with my bone stock miata the other day

just put on agx and stiffer springs with 15x8 wheels and Flaken 215 55 on
fenders touch like crazy in front have to do flares now

well this is the only way i can get my post in so i can actual buy things for my car.......if i get banned for trying to fix my car up by sourcing parts then what good is a miata forum?
i am on rx7club forum and we can buy from any one , PM them...post threads on the very first day.....why do we have to be so strick on the miata forums?
any way as soon as I can get the parts I want to get my car all done I promise to put a picture or two.........but thats when I think the car looks good enough to actuall post some pics...if thats ok with everyone?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say.....no, no that's probably NOT going to be ok with anyone here, let alone everyone, oh well, you wouldn't/won't be the first guy to get the ban stick before they get their 15th post in..

well i am not tring to get banned, but at the same time, i think your response shows the lack of tolerance for different people. Not everyone wants to make friends and have a good ole chat....some people only have the little chance between work and breaks to surf and search parts etc.
maybe the mods here can soften up and realize that a forum is a wonderful tool for many to sell and buy as well as exchange ideas........and sometimes you will have many different kinds of people that have many different needs, but inspite of that we have ONE thing in common..................we love a MAZDA MIATA!!!

any way I will do my best to conform to your posting rules and all other rules that apply,

Let me help you out. Do you also have an RX-7? I ask because you mentioned in a previous post you're registered in that forum.

BTW, don't get pissed just because it's hard to get your post count up. You'll thank us in the future!

actually it's not. you're a teacher, so I expect this to sink in and for you to pass it on to the next guy who tries this (later today I suspect).

You can increase your post count by posting thoughtful, insightful, and meaningful content. that does not include one sentence in a random thread about how you agree or disagree. it also does not include non-sequitur anecdotes that dont relate to a thread. it also (hint!) does not include posting several times in a few minutes in the same thread. there is an edit button to prove you don't need to do that.

plus, by waiting a little while and learning from the community, you wont come back in a month posting something like:

I paraphrased but you get the idea.

however, my patience is actually not the problem, my time is.
I am a teacher, I work 12 hours and I am a engineer , so therefore I have learnt patience, just I have only 24 hours a day to 36 hours of work....lol
I am sure you all understand that.
and for the question about the RX7 . the answer is yes I owned a RX7 which I sold when I bought the MIata,

LOL.......thanks RAFA.......I guess i can PM and post now.....anyway I am and was enjoying our little exchange of opinions I am sure some other newbee will see it and learn a thing or two about us all...........inspite of creed , colour, nationality we are all miata people..LOL
