Default Been lurking here for a while now...

So I may as well say hi. My name is Randy and when I'm not busy running my 35mm movie projector repair shop, I'm thinking about what I want to do with my car! I bought my first Miata a few months ago, a 10AE with low miles. The car is great, but coming from a turbo Mini, I miss the power. However, I do not miss the FWD. I'm looking to get a used Begi or FM kit on the cheap. I will likely run the voodoo box (if I can find a used one) until I decide on what I want to do for engine management (MS or Adaptronic) The car is my DD and will double as my track day fun car. I'm here to learn, so lets have some fun.

I am new here as well. Is your car a cali spec or federal spec? I will PM you when I figure out how. If you know then do so to me and we can talk. Where are you located?

Have a great day,
Jared

Yea, that is the key, are you more intrested in predictability and reliability, or a all out race beast?

I bought my car from a guy out in the midwest. You can't send any PM's until you hit a post count of 15. I live in Portland, OR.

Ok. I guess that is why I can't find the PM link.

You can tell what you have if you look on th eunder hood lable. If it mentions california Emisions then you have a cali ar. Also if you have a cat right off the header then you have a cali car. I had a 2000 that I bought a turbo for but never had a chane to put on. It has a voodo box, egt, boost, A/F sensor and gauge mani and dp. If you are interested I would be happy to send you some pics. I am shure you can find a intercooler and piping for cheep.

Let me know if you are interested.

Have a great day,
Jared

That's a cool looking mini! I am so sick of chrome nowadays, it's way overused. Nice miata, too
What does 10AE mean?
