just introducing my self, i dont have a miata but i do have a festiva..(quit laughing!) its a 1988 with a capri xr2 b6t engine and capri trans, the car is frightfully fast and pretty much bone stock with a mbc, i do have some wirring issued so hopefully when i get the new engine in i can fix all the wirring and do a standalone to cure some of the problems. well recently i just acquired a JDM BPT and for the price i couldn't say no, so my winter plans are to stuff this BPT under the hood. i am here as a lurker trying to learn more about what parts work with the BP's and theres tons of great info here! i want to build the BPT internals hopefully find a 99 miata head, neukin is making me a custom manifold as we speek. im going to stick a Kia sephia FWD trans in and hopefully a lsd. my next big purchase probably will be a megasquirt. im in nothern il about 40 mins from chicago if any of you local guys want to hit up the junkyards let me know i got a few friends and we try to get together on wednesdays and hit the diffrent yards up. heres some pictures at the paint shop (need a new painter) it needs to be finished, maybe re done i know the car at first may look ugly, i use to be a big domestic guy, i owned a few mustangs but man this car grew on me and i think its damn sexy now anyone who has seen it would say the same. im just going for a mild sleeper look nothing to fancy

Howdy neighbor. I've hit up all the boneyards here on the South Side and all I've come up with is 1 Na in three years! They are pretty scarce down here. Mabey my timing was bad but I seem to have no luck down here.One guy I talked to said I had a better chance of finding a 40 year old virgin!

ive seen a few maitas in the bone yard one bp and one b6 i grabbed the intake off the b6 one that was at pick n pull in summit. i tried to grab the intake off another miata at a pick n pull in indiana. where are you located? i want to try and hit the indaia one up again soon DOE i forgot i got school now crap on me maybe we can hit it up during the weekend, im going to have to drop out of school so i dont miss half day wednesday!

I'm in Tinley Park,a half hour south of Chicago on IL Rt 43.The cars down right now, I'm trying to route my hotside pipe to the intercooler.It's a PITA with power steering and air conditioning.It's hard to find time too.I work 12 hours a day but I've had some time off with the rain.If we get good weather we're supposed to work 7 days a week!Short deadline on this job.It'll make me some money though.
