Default de-noobing

Hi there.
I've been lurking this place since beginning of the year. Picked up a 96 Montego Blue at the beginning of January. Bought it at an auction, and obviously it turned out to be a bag of problems . Looks like the PO overheated it and blown the head gasket. Not wanting to **** around with it, I just bought a used engine (off ebay, none the less...) and swapped it. Figured can always use a spare engine... like, build it up a bit maybe

Passed MD inspection a couple of months ago. Front shock turned out to be leaking oil, so I bought Koni Sports and will get Ground Control perches and springs later on. Dunno about the rates at this point.

TL;DR things I've done so far:
- Installed another engine & tranny. JDM, had a sticker and everything!
- Competition mounts
- SS clutch line
- Stripped the carpet, washed and painted it. Installed Reflectix.
- Koni Sports (just the fronts right now, waiting on 1 rear shock to be delivered )
- Bought 550cc injectors and 90% finished Megasquirt

To buy:
- Springs, GC perches, bump stops, NB shock mounts
- Wheels. Probably 15x9 6ul's, but maybe 15x8. Probably not, however
- Tires.
- Corrado brake upgrade, pads and SS brake lines.
- Roll bar.
- LC-1.
- turboz

To do:
- Fix all the broken ****!

Pics. Nevermind that they are all different size. Too lazy to resize.

...and now the kicker. I didn't want to make an intro post until the car is all fixed up and looking pretty. But my exhaust fell off and I need to ***** myself to 10 posts .
Say, anyone has a 96-97 exhaust lying around?

Welcome.

Though I'm a little bothered by the fact that you're whoring to 10 posts just to buy/sell it looks like you might be a contributing member yet, and the way you did it was smooth, so I won't tell hustler to rape your children

Looks like you wanna get the driver mod before power mods. Smart. What kinda racing do you plan on doing?

Oh yeah, needs MOAR BOOST

You used the term "JDM".

Your car is invalid now.

I will but not now. I just want to drive the car while collecting turbo parts. I thought about just getting someone to weld the original exhaust but frankly it looks completely rusted through.

Lowes. Its called Reflectix, and I read about it on some other forums (m.net I think?). It's light and cheap. I used adhesive spray to attach it.

4'x125' roll was like $45 and is enough to cover at least 2-3 miatas. There are smaller rolls but they didn't have it in stock.

Apparently a new exhaust can be had for a whooping $62 shipped.
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sk...EPM961135.html - $69, plus a coupon code 'APWCART' for $7 off. Yep, I'm that cheap.
Probably will go this route if I can't score a cheap used one locally (read: for like $25)

An exhaust doesn't need a turbo. You can put it on an N/A car, i promise.

I know, but there are 3 issues with buying a nice exhaust right now:
  1. I'll need to wait for it, unable to drive the car.
  2. It's $450 instead of $62.
  3. It needs extra **** to attach to the stock cat I'm using right now, like some sort of a coupler with a 3" v-band on one side and stock flange on the other.
Trust me, I won't be running the stock exhaust when the car is boosted. Pinky promise
